Saturday Styling Session ✨

As we move into summer, I wanted this piano styling to feel softer, lighter and a little more feminine.

Adding fresh flowers instantly brings life and movement to a space, while keeping the palette tonal and understated allows everything to still feel calm and cohesive.

I often find that seasonal styling is not about completely changing a space, it’s about subtly evolving it through texture, colour and thoughtful details that reflect the time of year.

Sometimes the smallest changes create the biggest shift in how a home feels.

One of the most common mistakes in styling a home is feeling the need to fill every corner, shelf or surface. But often, the spaces that feel the most elevated are the ones that allow room to breathe.

A more considered home is created through balance, restraint and knowing which pieces truly deserve attention, not by constantly adding more. Sometimes removing visual noise creates far more impact than introducing another object.

Because thoughtful design is not just about what you include. It’s also about what you choose to leave out.

If your home feels unfinished or overwhelming, a more cohesive space may begin with clarity rather than more decor. Book a consultation via the link in bio 🔗✨

What I’m not falling for as an interior designer ✍️

Not every design “rule” creates a home that actually feels good to live in. Some of the most elevated spaces are the ones that feel calm, intentional and personal,  not overcrowded, trend-led or overly perfect.

Good design is not about adding more for the sake of it. It’s about understanding what belongs, what doesn’t, and how a home should support the people living in it.

Because the best homes are the ones that feel effortless.

Which console table would you choose?

Console tables are one of those pieces that quietly shape the atmosphere of a home, whether that’s soft and relaxed, structured and refined, or more layered and collected.

The key is not copying a look exactly, but understanding what feeling you’re naturally drawn to.

Which one would you choose? A, B, C or D?⬇️

Decision fatigue is something I see with clients all the time.

When you’re trying to make countless choices, layouts, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting, without a clear direction, the process can quickly start to feel overwhelming.

My role is not just to design a beautiful home. It’s to bring clarity to the process.

By creating a considered design direction from the beginning, every decision that follows becomes easier, more cohesive and more intentional. Clients no longer have to second-guess every choice or spend hours trying to make everything work together. Instead, the process feels calm, guided and far more enjoyable.

That’s one of the most valuable parts of thoughtful interior design, giving people back their time, energy and headspace while creating a home that feels beautifully resolved.

Have you ever experienced decision fatigue when designing or styling your home? 🤍

One of the most important parts of the design process is trust.

From the very beginning, my goal is to truly understand how my clients want their home to feel, creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully aligned with their lifestyle and vision.

Hearing that clients feel supported, understood and confident throughout the process is always incredibly meaningful.

For this console table, I kept the palette soft, neutral and tonal, using similar colours and materials to create a look that feels calm, cohesive and effortless.

When tones relate to one another, a space naturally feels more refined. Nothing competes for attention, which allows the styling to feel balanced rather than overworked.

This approach works beautifully in spaces where you want the atmosphere to feel timeless, elevated and easy to live in.

Often, the most effective styling comes from restraint, not adding more, but choosing pieces that quietly work together.

A home that feels elevated is rarely created through trends or excess....More often, it comes down to thoughtful decisions, cohesion, proportion, texture and restraint.

The spaces that feel the most luxurious are usually the ones that feel calm, intentional and beautifully balanced.

Because true luxury in a home is not about how much is added. It’s about how well everything works together.

Which point do you think makes the biggest difference in a home?
