This Cork Craft Month, we had over over 80+ workshops designed to connect the public directly with the county's vibrant craft community! 🫶

Here are some wonderful glimpses into only some of the huge variety of workshops on offer this year! From fused glass, felting, and lino printing, to porcelain magic, candle bouquets, and circular weaving - there was something for everyone this craft month! 🧶🎊

As part of the festival, the The Glucksman gallery have been hosting a Pop-Up Shop which features 13 local Cork Craft and Design makers working across various craft media including wood turning, ceramics, textile, soaps and print. 🪵🧶🖼

The unique, work is displayed and available for purchase from the gallery shop. The Glucksman Cork Craft Pop-Up Shop will run until the 31st of August and will be open during the usual gallery hours, from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am-5pm. So make sure to drop in while you can! 📍📆

A quick reflection on the 'Crafting Legacy' celebration held last Thursday evening! 🖼🎊 A big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the superb talent of our Cork Craft and Design members. 🥂

Our “Crafting Legacy” Members Showcase Exhibition runs at St Peters Cork from 13th-31st August, with a launch evening on Thursday 20th August. 🎊

As Ava Hayes, Festival Director of Cork Craft Month, has said: 'Cork Craft Month is all about bringing people closer to craft and the makers behind it.'

Join us on the 20th to take a closer look at the exceptionally hand-crafted works and celebrate with music from and refreshments from Rebel City Distillery:Spirits Bound By Alchemy and Artistry and Eight Degrees Brewing. 🥂
