A Nicholas Moody kitchen and bathroom with personality in every corner.

Bespoke painted cabinetry and a curved island bring softness to the space, while the vibrant Lacanche Ireland range and patterned splashback make a confident focal point. The bathroom carries that same playful spirit through an ornate sink by London Basin Company and bespoke painted doors with handmade arch detail, finished with handles by Armac Martin.

Designed around the people who live here, with room for colour, character and craftsmanship.

A kitchen with personality, craftsmanship and a little bit of the unexpected.

This bespoke In-Frame kitchen by Nicholas Moody Kitchens pairs timeless cabinetry with bold, characterful details throughout. The soft neutral finish allows the statement pieces to take centre stage — from the striking yellow Lacanche Ireland range cooker and patterned splashback to the beautifully detailed brass hardware by Armac Martin .

Beyond the kitchen, the same attention to detail continues with bespoke cabinetry, rich colour and a statement London Basin Company basin creating a home that feels considered, individual and completely personal to its owners.

For us, bespoke design isn’t simply about making cabinetry to fit a space. It’s about creating something that reflects the people who live there.

Indoors and outdoors are boundaries drawn by architecture.
Design can make them more subtle, opening new perspectives and creating continuity between light, material and landscape.

The kitchen is no longer confined within a room.
It engages with its surroundings and becomes part of a broader vision of living.

CASE STUDY | Nicholas Moody Kitchens x Rugs.ie

Great interiors are defined by more than any one element. They’re created through a considered combination of craftsmanship, materials, texture, colour and detail.

We were delighted to collaborate with Rugs.ie on this beautiful private residence in Kinsale, Co. Cork — a project recently featured as a case study on their website.

For the home’s basement entertaining space, our bespoke cabinetry and joinery are complemented by a hand-knotted Lavish rug, carefully selected by the Rugs.ie team. Woven from wool and bamboo silk, its rich jewel tones and texture sit beautifully alongside the crafted cabinetry, ambient lighting and material palette.

The result is a warm, luxurious space designed not simply to look beautiful, but to be lived in and enjoyed.

Projects like this reflect our approach at Nicholas Moody Kitchens — looking beyond the kitchen to consider the wider interior and creating bespoke furniture and joinery that brings the entire home together.

Thank you to the team at Rugs.ie for featuring the project.

Delighted to see one of our recent Kinsale projects featured by Rugs.ie ✨

For this private residence, we designed a refined basement space for relaxing and entertaining, bringing together bespoke cabinetry, rich textures and atmospheric lighting to create a warm and luxurious retreat.

The finishing touch was a hand-knotted Lavish rug sourced in collaboration with Rugs.ie. Woven from wool and bamboo silk, its abstract design and jewel tones sit beautifully alongside the bespoke joinery and add another layer of texture and character to the room.

It’s always rewarding to see the individual elements of an interior come together — craftsmanship, materials, colour and texture all playing their part.

Thank you to the team at Rugs.ie for featuring the project as a case study.

The most memorable kitchens aren’t defined by colour alone. They’re defined by the way materials work together.

The warmth and character of natural timber. The timeless elegance of natural stone. The subtle sophistication of contemporary metallic finishes. When thoughtfully combined, these materials create kitchens with depth, texture and a lasting sense of quality.

At Nicholas Moody Kitchens, every material is carefully considered—not just for how it looks today, but for how it will feel and perform for years to come. The result is a space that is beautifully balanced, effortlessly functional and uniquely personal.

If you’re planning a new kitchen, start with the materials. They’re the foundation of exceptional design.
