Honoured to have my illustration of the Irish Goddess Caorthannach featured on this new fantastic book by the team at Girl God

"Rise up, Women, rise up! The Dragon has been awakened. And the Bear will no longer slumber in Her cave.

This is the time of the Mother's retribution. It's running from root to root throughout the forest, echoing overhead in the canopy of leaves. It is anger released upon the crashing oceans' tides. The battering winds scream." -Sharon Smith

Delighted to have a number of paintings in this new exhibition by Inverarity

Hello Everyone
The weekend is almost here. It's time to slow down and skip the scroll. I have curated a huge autumn show at The Inverarity Gallery which has just opened. There are over 60 international artists exhibiting online together and the art is absolutely phenomenal

As an artist one faces frequent rejection, and I have had my share of that including a recent interaction with a curator that should never play poker.. As a teenager the famous Island artist Hilda Wilanough gave me sage advice,"if you follow this path you will be poor the rest of your life." Poor in pocket but never in spirit. The pursuit of making art is done on a daily basis entirely for me, its an homage to the divine, and for no one else. If its appreciated thats a brillant validation which comes rarely. It has come with a work being accepted in the highly competitive Glebe Easter exhibition, with more than 700 entries. I am delighted and appreciated their vote of confidence thank you.
