​Proof that going bold in a compact space actually pays off. By colour drenching the kitchen zone in this gorgeous Dusky Berry tone—wrapping the archway walls and the ceiling in rich colour—it blurs the visual boundaries of the room. Instead of feeling boxed in, the rich shade adds depth, framing the view and making the whole home feel so much more open and connected.

​Taking a client’s vision board and turning it into a real-life masterpiece is one of our favorite parts of the design journey. For this entryway and staircase transformation, our client wanted bold contrast, dramatic patterns, and chic, elevated styling—and the final reveal delivers just that.

​Design Highlights:

​Bold Colors & Contrast: The deep black accent woodwork—achieved using Fast Flow from Crown Paints—sets a striking, modern tone against the crisp white doors and warm neutral wall accents.

​Chic Statement Wallpaper: The dramatic floral and avian wallpaper from Casadeco adds sophisticated texture and instant luxury to the multi-level space.

​Vision to Reality: Every element—from the layered mood board textures down to the rich black banisters and natural wood flooring—was meticulously matched to bring the customer's concept to life.

The stuff you don’t usually see on camera… 📱⚡

​Lately, life’s been coming at me fast. Between juggling a million things, prepping the house for the baby, and hospital runs, my body gave me a rude reality check. Ended up on a heart and blood pressure monitor, and to top it off, the car decided to break down on the way to the baby appointment! 😅🚗

​I used to think I had to handle everything solo, but burning out taught me one big lesson: it’s okay to ask for help.
​Massive love to the lads who showed up last weekend to help get the place painted and in order and brought the Monarch brushes.

Reminded me to take a breath, grab a coffee, and keep smiling through the chaos.
​Take care of yourselves out there—and don't be afraid to lean on your people when you need to! ❤️🤝

Home Sweet Haunted Home 🖤✨

​The entryway is finally starting to come together, and I am obsessed with the vibe! We used Overjoyed by Crown Paints on the walls—that rich, warm golden shade creates the most incredible mood under low lighting.

​Plus, our little butler is officially on duty at the door, ready to serve up the spooky vibes alongside all my favourite horror books and dark decor. Walking into the house feels like stepping into our own cozy, moody sanctuary. Still a few tweaks left, but it’s feeling more like home every day! 🕯️🦇🍷

Headed over to pick up some custom decal stickers, and Dave even gave me a quick tutorial on how to apply them smoothly.

​A customer asked for a Toy Story-themed bedroom makeover, so I used the Crown ColourKey to scan an exact match from this Buzz Lightyear bag. Heads up to my local Crown Decorating Centre for mixing it up in Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable! 🎨

​Even the alien gave it the stamp of approval 👽
