Hi just want to introduce myself, as I’m getting messages related to the previous owners.

I have dusted off this page to try get it up and running again in the last few days focusing on domestic ranges supply only and supply and fitting.

My name is James Moore my company JMR Florring on this page or my Facebook account is “James Moore JM Carpets” I don’t use social very much but I intend to change that going to to grow my business further.

I hope this clears up any confusion as I’m getting messages and while all are well received many are for the previous owners, some just saying hello, others asking about jobs and ringing the wrong phone numbers to confirm.

I have 18 years experience in domestic and commercial flooring.

I have mainly been involved more on the commical side for the majority of them working for the previous owners doing commercial fit out projects.

About 3 or 4 years ago I purchased the company 121 Flooring which would is the original name of this page and the company for primarily the Commercial contracts and fit outs they had ongoing.

They also has a retail shop for domestic work in Rathmines Dublin 6, which I choose not to take up as a going concern due to financial constraints of staff and general overheads.

The shop however had steady stream of domestic work something I should have tried to keep up more frequently and this is why I will be putting up ads and competed work on this page going forward.

Sorry for any confusion in the messages in the last few days I hope this explains it all.

People stop f**king using rug doctors and wet Chem vac on your carpet… you are destroying them !!….Please read below

6 this week we counted alone got them cleaned by man of the FB and ended up worse than it was only two weeks later so ended having to buy a new carpet… one lady paid them 3 separate occasions before realising her carpet was for the bin the backing had delaminated from the top fibres and she hovered it came apart.
Knowing is key so please share.

For Stain resistant and bleach cleanable do NOT use Chem vac cleaners and rug doctors on them it strips the stain resistant off the carpet and they become Porous.

The chemicals in the cleaning machine strip the stain safe protection from the carpet.
The stain resistant carpet are sprayed in the factory it’s seals the carpet once you clean them it’s stripes that off it.
The carpet becomes porous and suck in all the dirt after about 2 weeks will look worse than before it was cleaned.

They are bleach cleanable so you should mix water and bleach 1/3rd bleach to 2/3rds water and spray on and then or wipe heavy stains with kitchen roll paper about 2 minutes after.

The chemicals in the machines can also break down the backing of the carpet also, depending on the carpet type.

Seeing this a lot lately unfortunately.

Ask the people who supplied your carpets what the recommended cleaning process is from the Manufacturer l, not some randomer off FB who bought a cleaning vac and wants €60 for from you.

Please share as people out there destroying perfectly good carpets.
