Moon gazing hare pendant 🌕

A birthday gift for my Mother in law 💕 An animal lover at heart, hares have become a new favourite - partly because of the beautiful book 'Raising Hare' by Chloe Dalton.

This hare has been christened Harriet 🌸

This piece was so much fun to make. I started with the silhouette of the hare, originally was thinking of a circular pendant, but this arch window shape worked better with the scale of the hare and moonstone.

Moon gazing hare pendant 🌕

This lovely hare has a new home. It was my Mother in laws birthday recently and I wanted to make something special for her.

An animal lover at heart, hares have recently become a favourite because of the beautiful book Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton.

I started with the silhouette of the hare and the addition of the moonstone adds a little magic!

I loved making this piece and am inspired to make more woodland creatures 🍃 This hare has been christened Harriet ❤️

First time flush setting 💎

Had a great day on Sunday doing the flush setting course. Clodagh was lovely and helpful and there was an ample supply of chocolate (the good stuff - yellow snacks and curly whirlys!)

Looking forward to buying more gems in all the colours and practicing.

Cubic zirconias are a great affordable way to learn this technique before I try something a bit more special like sapphire or maybe even a diamond!

Just waiting on my new burrs to get started!

Been taking some time to reassess my studio space and see how I can make it work best for me. Here is the start of a big studio makeover and organisation!

These pegboards were originally used for market displays, but I cant tell you how many times I knocked them off the table 🙄 Much better for keeping all tools in easy reach!

Still have lots more organising to do but I cant wait to get making in my new refreshed space 🔨
