As a marine professional with a background in sail training and boat maintenance, Grant brings a unique perspective to his work as a sculptor. His experience with Stainless Steel and Copper has enabled me to create functional and visually stunning fixtures for marine clients over the years. Always been fascinated by movement in nature – sails harnessing the wind, sailboats cutting through water and leaves catching the breeze. These fluctuations inspired him to pursue a career in sculpture and garden art, with a focus on nautical and botanical themes. "As waves merge one into the other, so I use tig welding to fuse different metals into one unique form, thereby creating new combinations, textures, and reflections." "Stainless Steel and Copper can bend or disform during the welding process, but this quality can be used to create extraordinary shapes, which have a new strength and a lasting beauty." Instead Grant prefers to take each commission on a case-by-case basis, offering a tailor made, personal service to each individual. You are welcome to contact us with our Design Enquiries and Grant will be happy to suggest various options and alternatives for you.

Great visit to this week for last glimpse of the sculptures.
What a difference a month makes — the gardens have exploded with growth, making this living exhibition even more beautiful.
Until next time!
