What is a unity arrangement, and do you actually need one? 💐
If you've been planning your wedding flowers and seen some people include unity arrangements and thought, what exactly is that? You're not alone.
Traditionally, a unity arrangement is a floral arrangement made in a long diamond shape that features three candles: 1 large candle in the center and 2 on either side representing each family. Once lit, the two candles unite to light the center candle, thus joining the bride and groom and their families.
But do you need one? Not at all. If you like the idea of a unity ceremony, then go for it! It's a tradition for a reason. But this is your wedding, you can do anything you want.
Our advice? Think about which moments will actually matter to you and put your flowers (and your budget) there.
