Adonis Flower Designers is a florist shop located in the historic Iveagh buildings – in the heart of old Dublin city centre – on Patrick Street between Christchurch Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral. Since opening our doors in 1992, we have established ourselves as a leader in modern Irish floristry, creating beautiful floral displays for your home, your workplace, and all your special occasion

We specialise in contemporary bouquets and flower arrangements, sympathy tributes, bespoke wedding and event florals, as well as weekly contract displays for hotels, restaurants and offices.

Adonis has a wonderful gift area too! We stock over 30 Irish Craft Businesses in our store and are very proud to support other independent businesses, from chocolates, candles and cards to wool throws, scarves and many more gorgeous items!

We offer a same-day flower delivery service in Dublin Monday- Saturday and gift postage service nationwide, or you can drop in and browse our fresh selection of plants and blooms at our flower shop on Patrick Street, Dublin 8.

Four years married today 🤍

A little personal post from me, and an excellent excuse to revisit what remains my favourite Adonis bouquet of all time… although I may be slightly biased!

All my favourite blooms, soft, romantic, colourful and a little bit wild (just like me hahaha) —with beautiful little photo charms tucked around the handle so my sister could be carried beside with me on the day.

Happy anniversary to my wonderful wife, Ana. Four years married today, so many difficult times in those 4 short years, so much life lived, and still making each other laugh as much as possible, i'm very lucky to have you with me..

Heatwave mode: Activated.

We're doing everything we can to keep your flowers looking their absolute best. Our stock is delivered fresh daily and Every bouquet is made tp order, conditioned with care and treated like royalty... but we don't have industrial flower fridges, just a determined team, a lot of fans, and a boss with Migralieve patches permanently attached to her forehead and neck. 🥵😂

If your flowers seem thirstier than usual, they probably are. During this spell of unusually high temperatures, a little extra TLC goes a long way:

💧 Top up with fresh, cool water every day.
✂️ Re-cut the stems every couple of days.
🌿 Remove any leaves below the waterline.
☀️ Keep them away from direct sun, hot rooms and fruit bowls.
❄️ If you have a cooler room overnight, they'll thank you for it.

We promise we're doing our very best in conditions Ireland simply wasn't designed for! ❤️
