Big news! After 13/14 years of flowering up the most gorgeous weddings I’m retiring from the world of floral design.
I’m so proud of everything I have created. Starting a wedding floral design business impulsively with my sis Lisa with no connections in the wedding or event world, was no mean feat. Especially with three small kids and working night shifts.. My sis had the good sense to move on after 9 mths 😁
Through pure graft and passion I grew my business without ever losing sight of my core values, designing without the use of floral foam, no matter how big or small the designs. And that is something I’ll be forever proud of. I’ve been blessed with the best couples who have really seen the value in sustainable design.
There are way too many people to thank who were such an integral part of my business, and I’m afraid I’d leave someone out if I start listing all the gorgeous people my paths crossed with.
But I need to give a special thanks to Waterlily Weddings & Maria Reidy Events & Luttrelstown Castle.
Forever grateful to my amazing team of freelancers who I could not have done this without, Sophia Lisa, Ellen, Hazel, Jenny, and all the other amazing girls who came along for the madness.
The biggest thank you to my husband Darren, Jamie, Sophia & Isabella who have all had a big part to play in Bella Botanica, whether they’ve liked it or not 😂 But seriously how lucky am I that I was able to offer all my kids their first job and get to spend so much time with them as teenagers. Now let’s be real they were trapped in the van with me 😁
Anyway my last wedding is going to be an absolute beauty with a gorgeous couple and the first planner I ever worked with very fitting ❤️
