We didnât end up feeling like we were compromising on anything.â
đThis is one of my favourite parts of Aoifeâs testimonial.
Before we started, they werenât sure what they could achieve within their budget â or even where to begin.
And that uncertainty is something I hear from homeowners all the time.
Do we need more space?
Could the house we already have work better?
What should we prioritise?
How much do we actually need to extend?
In this case, we did extend but only after we had worked out how to make much better use of the existing house.
đĄThat meant the extension could be smaller, more considered and designed to add the space the family genuinely needed, rather than using an extension to compensate for a layout that wasnât working.
đĄBecause Why Extend When You Can AmendÂŽď¸ doesnât mean never extend.
It means make the existing house work first and then only extend where it genuinely adds value.
Thatâs why I start with diagnosis before design.
My Reconfiguration Reviewâ˘Â helps you understand what isnât working, what your home actually needs and where your investment will make the biggest difference before committing to a design.
And Iâm really looking forward to seeing this home completed later in the year.
