e in delivering full design schemes - from modern and colourful to classically elegant. With a background in art publishing and graphics, her love of art and colour is evident throughout her work and she believes that a well designed home should reflect its owners personality. "As designers we have a responsibility to the client to ensure the layout meets their functional needs. Then, layers of colour and texture add warmth and character whilst some well considered final touches complete the scheme. Attention to detail is one of my hallmarks - it's the smaller, more subtle elements that really help create a harmonious feel. A beautifully designed space is a joy to live in and this is the ultimate goal of every project I undertake". She collaborates with a number of architects and building contractors to see each design through to completion. A regular contributor to interior magazines and newspaper articles, Jackie has also been invited to speak at shows such as House Event, the Ideal Home Show and the Self Build shows. She works with developers on showhouse fit outs and in 2017 took part in TV3's Showhouse Showdown programme, winning across all four categories. Her work is featured on Houzz where she was awarded "Best of Houzz for both Design and Service" in 2022. She is the current President of the Interiors Association. The design brief for the living room of our Terenure project was for an elegant space that’s calm and restful. This busy family home needed zones of quietness too. We used varying tones of little greene “slaked lime” on the walls and joinery to complement the olive toned herringbone sofa and washed oak flooring. Bespoke curtains in natural fabric frame the bay window with a tailored look. The ribbed detail of the coffee table and cabinetry is referenced in the slim glass rods of the centre pendant and soft brass accents add a soft glow. A room that’s inviting and relaxing in equal measure!

The primary bedroom of our Terenure project, an enticingly elegant space that’s stylish and welcoming. By wallpapering throughout the entire room we added graphic interest whilst the tones of silver, white and gold retain a serene feel. Stunningly rich curtains in a self patterned Casamance fabric complement the bespoke cushions and bed throw. Gorgeous pendant lights from Visual Comfort combine with practical reading lights and dressing table wall lights. The bespoke wardrobes with ribbed detail fill one entire wall opposite the bed. We reworked the floor plans to create a stunning en-suite with arched entrance to a wet room shower and referenced the rich deep golden tone in the wall paint here also. The spacious bathroom with double vanity completes this beautiful bedroom sanctuary.

The entry hall of our Terenure project is classically elegant, embracing a monochrome palette for a timeless look. The stunning tumbled limestone tiles from set the tone, leading to a gorgeous black metal door with curve that echoes the original ceiling arch. We added wall panelling throughout with patterned wallpaper above to add layers of texture, contrasting with a smart black military style console table. The Hampton ceiling light from adds a beautiful centrepiece to the space.

We have been waiting to share this amazing full home project in Terenure and first up is the gorgeous girls bedroom. We redesigned the spatial layout, widening an existing chimney breast to allow for a double bed and created alcove storage with arched shelving to each side. A full row of wardrobes opposite the bed ensures tons of storage for years to come. The feature bay window was fitted with a bespoke window seat for those moments of escape. Fully wallpapered in a blush and gold chrysanthemum design and complemented with a soft feathered pendant light, this bedroom is light filled and elegant yet as playful and charming as its young occupant.

Sharing some views from our latest Showhouse at Bridgegate Ardee. We used a palette of cream, amber and blue with warm timber on the floors and bespoke joinery. A mix of leather and velvet cushions, limestone tabletops and fluted glass on the side table add texture and elegance. We think this is a gorgeous, welcoming living room.
