We are delighted to share our Terenure Residence 〰️ featured in the Autumn/Winter IMAGE interiors ☘️ a 1930s home whose existing character inspired a new chapter 🌞

Working alongside the talented Adam Gibney on the build, we rethought the layout to improve flow, draw light deeper into the rooms and strengthen the connection to the garden 🍃

A blend of timber shades, limestone and textured brick sit alongside soft fabrics, antiques and bespoke joinery, building on the home’s original character and bringing ease to everyday family life.

A big thank you to our lovely clients for embracing our ideas with such trust and enthusiasm, and to everyone who helped bring the vision to life 〰️

Within a year that brought us an eclipse 🌒 and the most captivating Harvest Moon 🌝 It’s only fitting that we share more of our celestial inspired primary bedroom ✨

The design began with Modern Toile in indigo by Johnson Hartig of L I B E R T I N E Schumacher 🌞 Based on Renaissance drawings, its sun, moon, stars and mystical figures bring scale and intrigue to the Collector’s Penthouse. A cocooning shade of gold on the walls and ceiling, warm timber and crisp white linen complete the room 🌙

What an inspiring week it has been for Dublin Design Week.

I’m incredibly proud of the wealth of design and creativity here in Ireland, from fashion to interiors, craft and beyond ☘️

A huge thank you to Carol-Anne Carol-Anne Leyden for creating such a thoughtful day of design led conversations between architecture and interior design 〰️ SCULLION ODKM Architects hosted by the wonderful Melanie Morris

The growth in energy and activity from last year has been remarkable. The biggest thank you is to Jane and Sarah Design Week Dublin for creating a space where our creative community can come together, connect and celebrate Irish design.

Custom designed joinery forms the architectural backbone of the room, bringing depth and a strong sense of permanence to the space.

Rich timber, chrome accents, expressive grain and carefully considered proportions give the joinery a presence of its own functional, sculptural and integral to the architecture 〰️

Materiality played a defining role in shaping the character of the space. Natural stone, rich timber, tactile fabrics and layered finishes bring warmth and depth, while a restrained palette creates a sense of cohesion and calm 〰️
