We were delighted to welcome visitors to Mullan for a day exploring the history, people and craftsmanship that have shaped our village.

From stories of Mullan’s past to a behind-the-scenes tour of our factory and the processes behind our lighting, it was a great opportunity to share a little of what makes this place so special.

Summer Holiday Update ☀️

Our team is taking a short summer break! Our factory and ceramics studio in Mullan Village will be closed from August 10th to 14th, 2026.

During this week, our craftspeople will be resting their tools, so production and dispatches will be temporarily paused.

We’re still here to help: Our sales and customer care teams will be online and available as usual to take your orders, answer design questions, and assist with project specifications.

Thanks so much for your understanding - we’ll be back at full tilt, creating lights for your projects, on August 17th! 🛠️✨

When planning outdoor lighting, it’s not about making every corner bright—it’s about using light intentionally to create warmth, texture and depth.

3 simple rules to remember:

1️⃣ Layer your lighting: Combine soft wall sconces, path bollards and directional spotlights for balanced coverage.
2️⃣ Stick to warm tones: Warm white light enhances natural wood, brass and stone while keeping seating areas relaxed.
3️⃣ Embrace shadow: Leaving darker zones creates contrast and makes your key focal points stand out.
