FROM PLOT TO VASE

So many of my favourite seasonal materials in these ones- from plot to vase - sunflowers (and their seedheads) bronze fennel, honeysuckle, glanmire grown grapes, cosmos and rudbeckia. All in glanmire, co cork.

A walk through a haunting yew forrest ceremony, drinks on the castle lawn and dinner under the yews.

The florals were completely mono-species with double rose lilies, oriental lily, trumpet lily, cala lily and spider lily. Which I was so exciting to create- the 5 days prior of removing pollen from each lily paid off with the wild and slightly undone floral pillars.

During the dinner reception candelabras were hung with spanish moss to further the haunted forrest theme.

More to come from this special event - as i promised myself ill be posting a little more regularly. The photo reel is chock full.

Training day with the last week

I was Demoing a “modular” style floral installation- in lieu of a traditional arch for event work. Aimed to help growers who will inevitably be asked to do wedding flowers, approach installations in an uncomplicated way. Showing larger scale work is also a helpful way to secure bigger budget clients.

This modular approach of individual vessels raised up on crates is easy to manage and relocate after a wedding ceremony. It can be expanded on in size depending on the space

Would love to do more workshops and education this year- get in touch for if you have a group or would like one on one workshops. Happy to accommodate
