The 60 | 30 | 10 Rule ✨

One of my favourite interior design rules for creating a balanced, cohesive space — 60 | 30 | 10.

🤍 60% — Your dominant colour. Think walls, larger pieces of furniture and flooring.

🌿 30% — Your secondary colour. This is where you can bring in contrast through curtains, upholstery, cabinetry or feature walls.

✨ 10% — Your accent colour. The fun part! Cushions, artwork, accessories and those little pops of colour that bring the whole scheme to life.

It’s not a hard-and-fast rule, but it’s a fantastic starting point when putting a scheme together — helping you create balance without everything feeling too matchy-matchy.
