Say hello to our newest pupper, Sammy👋🐾 This gorgeous young Whippet is looking for a loving forever home anywhere in Ireland – can you give him a share to help him find it? 🙏🙏🙏

Sammy is only about 6 months old, and the poor lad was found straying last week, with no collar, no microchip, and nobody looking for him💔 Thankfully, he’s settled into his foster home like a dream, and his foster mammy has nothing but praise for him😍

Sammy is a super-friendly, sweet-natured and affectionate pup. He’s getting along brilliantly with resident dog Buddy, and having SO much fun with him, so we’d ideally love to find him a home with another playful dog or two🏡🐶 He loves doing zoomies around the garden with Buddy, playing with toys, and trying to convince you to give him just one more treat! Sammy is such a fun little character and is sure to bring plenty of laughs to his new home🥰

He bonds strongly with his people and doesn’t really like being without human company for long, so we’d also love to find him a home where he won’t be left on his own for long stretches. He’s a bit frightened of the neighbourhood cat who sometimes wanders into the garden, and he often flees into the house when she pays a visit... So we don’t think Sammy would be happy living with cats😹

Say hello to our newest gal, Vanta🥰🖤 This gorgeous 4-year-old Black Lab is absolutely full of love and can’t wait to find a family of her own. Can you give her a share to help her on her way?🙏🏡

Vanta came into our care from Clare Dog Shelter earlier this week and has settled into her foster home like an absolute dream! Like most Labradors, she’s super friendly, cuddly, and loves nothing more than being close to her people🥰🐶

She doesn’t seem to show much interest in the other dogs in her foster home – she’s definitely all about the humans! That said, she’s very happily and peacefully co-existing with them, so she won’t mind at all if there are other dogs in her forever home. They’ll just have to be happy with the fact that Vanta might never be interested in playing with them😆

She’s also living with cats in her foster home, so she could potentially live with dog-savvy cats who are confident enough to show her who’s boss! 😼

Vanta would love an adopter who can help her gradually lose some weight and build up her fitness with longer walks over time. The poor gal isn’t very fit at the moment, so she’ll need to take things slowly to begin with.

She’ll also ideally need a secure garden, as she has a bit of a tendency to roam. In fact, this was the reason she was surrendered by her previous family to the dog shelter – she would follow strangers when they were out walking and would frequently go missing. The poor gal was likely pretty lonely being left in the garden alone💔

When we went to the Dog Shelter last week to collect two other dogs, we just couldn’t resist helping this gorgeous old Springer Spaniel🥹🥰 Gizmo had the sweetest puppy-dog eyes and we knew we couldn’t leave him behind! Please give this lovely fella a share to help us find his forever home🙏

At around 11 years old, Gizmo is now looking for a peaceful, loving home where he will be spoilt rotten for the rest of his days. He’s such a gentle, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being pampered, and he’s going to be such a special companion for someone very lucky🥰

He’s a really friendly gentleman who’s clean, calm and well-mannered in the house. He’s been happily sharing his foster home with other dogs and he gets along really well with them. Gizmo would be happy to have another dog or two in his forever home, but he’d also be perfectly content as an only dog🐾

This lovely boy is a wonderful walking buddy and stays calm even when there are farm animals nearby. His recall is also excellent too, even though he’s only had the name Gizmo for the last few days!🏅

We haven’t had a chance to see how he is with cats, so a cat-free home might be best if possible. His fosterer hasn’t had visiting children, but we think he’d likely be best suited to a home with older, gentle children because of his love for a quiet life. At 11 years old, Gizmo really deserves a quiet and loving retirement where he can spend his days being adored, enjoying his walks and, most importantly, getting all the pampering he could possibly want🥰🏡

Have you ever seen such a gorgeous Collie cross😍? This is Blue, one of our newest arrivals here at CAW. She’s ready to find her forever home, so please give her a share🩵🙏🐾

Around 10 months old, Blue is a beautiful Collie mix with short hair, blue eyes and the most striking face🤩 She came to us from Clare Dog Shelter on Friday and has been settling in really well in her foster home.

Her fosterer describes her as a very friendly, cuddly girl who absolutely loves being around people and other dogs. She still has plenty of puppy in her, so she’s full of energy and loves to play, especially with her doggie friends! But after a good run around and a busy day, she’s more than happy to curl up for some cuddles and a long nap🥰

Blue is lovely and playful with children, but she might be a little bit too bouncy for small kids under 7. She’s enjoying her training and is a quick learner, so she will learn more manners in no time! She’s already house-trained and has excellent recall😇

She’d ideally have another dog in her forever home as she really does love canine company. She can also live with dog-savvy cats who don’t mind putting a playful young pup in her place😄🐱 Blue is just a lovely, affectionate, fun-loving young girl who has so much to offer her new family. We’d love to find her an active home where she’ll get plenty of playtime and adventure.

Sadly, Gandhi didn’t get any applications after his first two appearances here. Poor fella💔💔 He’s such a sweet and gentle boy and really deserves to be cherished – please give him a big share to help find his forever home🙏🙏🙏

Gandhi is somewhere between 1 and 2 years old, and was found straying a few weeks ago – badly neglected and extremely skinny🥺💔 He’s now safe in foster care, where he’s been getting all the good food, TLC and love he’d been missing. He’s really come out of his shell and is showing everyone what a lovely boy he is🥰

Like most lovely lurchers, Gandhi is gentle, calm and incredibly affectionate, and absolutely adores his people. He’s happiest when he can be close to his favourite humans, so we’d love to find him a home where he’ll have company for most of the day. Also true to his wonderful breed, he’s an expert lounger, so he’d make a brilliant companion for someone who works from home💕

He’s been fantastic with the other dogs in his foster home and would love a doggie companion in his forever home if possible🐶🐾 His gentle, easy-going nature makes him great with kids too. Unfortunately, we don’t think he can live with cats though.

Gandhi is housetrained, travels really well in the car and walks beautifully on the lead, so he’s a lovely all-rounder who would fit very easily into the right home. We are COMPLETELY gutted😩... We had approved a lovely family to adopt Lana, and they planned to meet her this weekend. Sadly, they’ve cancelled, so we are back to square one AGAIN with our unlucky girl😔💔 Can you show Lana some love this weekend, by commenting and sharing, to help her get seen by as many people as possible today? 🙏🙏

Lana is only 9 or 10 months old – so still a puppy really! We’re pretty sure she’s a Whippet crossed with a Shepherd (possibly a Dutch Shepherd) – what a wonderful mix! She’s much smaller than she looks in her photos: weighing just around 13 kilos.

She’s a happy, loving, energetic little gal who absolutely adores people and will happily enjoy as many cuddles, kisses and scritches as you’re willing to give🥰💕 She loves being included in whatever you’re doing and is happiest when she’s spending time with her people😇

Thanks to her Shepherd roots, she’s a clever girl who’s very eager to learn, and we’d love to find an adopter who’s happy to continue her training🌟

Lana absolutely LOVES the dogs in her foster home, and quickly made friends with them all on arrival. She would love a home where she has another friendly dog to keep her company, but she would be equally happy having all the cuddles to herself! She hasn’t met any cats, so we’re looking for a cat-free home🏡 She’s great with children, but since she can be a bit enthusiastic with her affection, kids over 6 would be best.

Since Lana is more energetic than most sighthound crosses (due to her Shepherd heritage!), we’d love to find her an active home where she’ll get plenty of playtime and walks. Gandhi is a gentle lurcher, somewhere between 1 and 2 years old, who was found straying a few weeks ago – extremely skinny and badly neglected🥺💔 Thankfully, he’s now safe in foster care, getting all the good food, TLC and love he deserves, and he’s really blossomed into the most wonderful dog🥰

He’s a quiet, calm and incredibly affectionate fella who absolutely loves people and is happiest when he’s near his favourite humans. Gandhi has also been fantastic with the other dogs in his foster home, and he would ideally love a doggie companion or two in his forever home🐶🐾

Gandhi is housetrained, a great passenger in the car, and walks really nicely on the lead. He’s a lovely, easy-going dude who enjoys getting out and about, but is equally happy when lounging around and snoozing (in true sighthound fashion😴!)
