From a plain, flat wall with no chimney to a stunning new focal point 🔥

Our team created this complete fireplace feature with a Marseilles marble fireplace, Alpen plate and Riven Slate hearth, finished with the ultra-realistic Gazco Mirage i40 electric fire.

No chimney? No problem. This is a great way to bring the look and atmosphere of a fireplace into your home, even when there’s no chimney in place.

Best of luck to Glenswilly Senior team in the semi-final today!

We’ve plenty of great customers in Glenties, so we’ll keep the banter friendly… but there’s no hiding who we’re cheering for! 😄

Imagine walking into your living room on a cold, wet Sunday morning and the fire is already blazing 🔥

No ashes. No firelighters. Just tap your phone while you’re still in bed, and let the ElcoFire Cooper 6S do the rest.

With 6 kW of heat, five power settings, automatic ignition and app control from anywhere, it’s a lovely way to come home to a warm room.

This customer is ready for winter! We installed the Cooper 6S with a GMS Continental fireplace in Polar White marble, a honed granite hearth and panel, and a flexible flue liner. All fitted by our team.

Get in touch if you’d like to discuss an installation of your own. And we don’t want to say the C word just yet… but our 2026 installation diary is getting very close to full! 🎄

This week, I swapped fireplaces for football coaching at the Foyle Cup! ⚽💙

We were incredibly proud to sponsor two of our Glen Rovers U10 teams as they took part in one of the biggest youth football tournaments around.

It was a week of highs and lows, but both teams did themselves, their families and the club proud, finishing in the top 60 of the group stages from 120 teams, before ending the tournament in 32nd and 54th place.

These are memories the boys will carry with them for life, and we're honoured that Spratt Fireplaces could play a small part in their journey.

I'll admit, I've never been the biggest football fan, but after spending a week on the sidelines coaching, celebrating, and stressing through every match, I might have to rethink that! 😅

A huge thank you to all the parents, volunteers and everyone involved in making the week such a fantastic experience for the boys.

At Spratt Fireplaces, we're proud to support our local clubs and young people, and we hope to continue doing so for many years to come.

C'mon the Glen! 💙⚽

A little non-fireplace-related post for a Sunday! 😊
I thought I'd share one of this weekend's projects (and a few on top)– a pair of handmade bedside lockers.
These were made entirely from waste oak offcuts saved from the production of our oak mantles, giving quality timber a second life instead of letting it go to waste.

A lot of people assume we're just another fireplace shop, but we actually started by manufacturing our own wooden fireplaces, marble hearths and fireplace inserts. While we don't produce as many wooden fireplaces these days, we still manufacture a huge amount of our own products in-house.
The craftsmanship behind projects like these is the same attention to detail we bring to our bespoke media walls, fireplace installations and custom stonework every day.
Back to the day job tomorrow! 😁
