It opens on 16th September and will also be open late on Friday 18th evening as part of the Culture night events in the town.

Kilnfire: A CLAYGalway Exhibition | Clifden Arts Festival 2026

Kilnfire brings together the diverse practices of CLAYGalway, celebrating sculpture, ceramic art, pottery and the many ways these disciplines intersect.

This ambitious exhibition showcases work by independent makers living and working across County Galway. From thrown stoneware and traditional sculpture to experimental forms and contained chaos, the exhibition explores the varied approaches of the group, all shaped by the transformative alchemy of vitrification.

Featuring CLAYGalway members including Louise Browne, Rob D’Eath, Carina Berger, Tamaru Hunt-Joshi, James Hatton, Jed Gjerek, Sinead O’Toole, Juliet Ball, Cormac O’Neill, Ness Porter Kelly and Tatiana Dobos.

EXHIBITION | THURSDAY 17TH – SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER
OPENING HOURS | 11:30AM – 5:30PM DAILY
VENUE | ABOVE THE SIGNAL HOUSE RESTAURANT AND BAR, STATION HOUSE
