****** 50 YEARS IN ONE JOB ******
It's not too often you hear about this milestone achievement, and reckon it'll be less and less into the future, but today we celebrated the last working day of our longest serving employee, Trevor Hanrahan.

In June 1976 Trevor Hanrahan started working for us, and today, over 50 years later, was his last. Whilst we had a great celebration with staff, family and friends, last Friday night in Bloomfield House Hotel, we had a small celebration to mark the occasion today, on the factory floor with a lot of his colleagues.

On behalf of all the staff of Stonefacings, we wish Trevor a happy and healthy retirement.

As an extra celebration - we decided the close up a day early for our annual summer break - so the staff can enjoy this glorious weather
So we are closed now, but we'll be back, fully re-charged, and ready to deal with any enquiries, on Tuesday August 4th

Thanks to the constantly updated designs and colours, a quartz worktop is nearly standard for a kitchen worktop now.

In order to meet this continuing upward demand we have to constantly invest in new machinery... and the latest piece of Italian engineering arrived today.

Sometimes our own cranes aren't big enough!

After a very busy start to the year, we are closed for an extended Easter break, from Friday 3rd to Tuesday 7th April, resuming regular opening hours on Wednesday 8th.

We hope everyone has a nice relaxing Easter.

We were delighted that Minister Peter Burke TD, Robert Troy TD, Nina Carbery MEP and James Bourke, president Mullingar Chamber could join us today to celebrate with us, together with all our customers, suppliers, family and friends.
