friendly reminder that your thoughts can be little 💩's sometimes, and maybe you're actually kinda okay!?

7 years of sharing crisps, anxiety, my bed, slippers, mc donalds, holidays... the best, best dog with the worst behaviour that is never his actual fault 🐶💙

Have you heard of a dopamine menu? 🥨

The idea is to build a menu of activities that make you feel good and give you a boost when you need it, without falling into the quick (but short shelf life) habits like scrolling.

Starters are small things you can do easily. Mains are the bigger bits, and desserts are things that are just for fun.

I'll be adding to mine more for March. 🌻

Some other questions you could ask 👇

Is there another way I could get the same result?

What would I say to my kids/ any smallie if they had this challenge?

What would make it easier for me to start?

Is this a realistic expectation for me?

Is it important that I do this? Why?

Is there some support I could ask for with this?

How could this work better for me and my brain?

To the soundtrack of my current dopamine song ✨️

Still a work in progress, trying things on, learning new ways to do things, and unlearning old ways of thinking.

I hope this is helpful to anyone else trying to figure out what works for them 🫶

Ah, that all makes sense now! 💁‍♀️

For me, the path to diagnosis has been mostly positive, but not without challenges, frustrations, and lots of feelings. Really, I knew this for a long time before doing the assessment, but sharing it has felt like the scariest part. Not because I have shame around being AuDHD, but because I was afraid of not being believed about something that is so personal to me.

We are seeing more diagnosis because women have been so overlooked and chronically under diagnosed. It's such great progress to have this new awareness, and understanding yourself better can only be positive

So please, please, if you have someone in your life going through this process, be open-minded, kind, and accepting of their experience. It's probably been a roller coaster for them to get to this point. 💓

What have those ten years taught me?

I hate sailing.

Look how happy 2026 Amie is; on land, in her natural habitat (a coffee shop) ☕️

Dec 2025 ✨️

The highlights - there was lots of normal life too, ups and downs, but also many lovely moments I wanted to capture here ❤️
