🖤🪵✨ PROJECT REVEAL: Modern Dual-Tone Kitchen & Utility ✨🪵🖤

Step inside this recently completed modern L-shaped kitchen and utility space, where deep contemporary tones meet the natural warmth of real timber grain!

The Design Details:
🪵 Dual-Tone Cabinetry: Base units and matching utility are finished in fingerprint-resistant Zola Soft Matte Graphite fitted with brushed steel handles, grounded and softened by Tavola Light Oak wall cabinetry.

🍳 Sleek Cooking Zone: Overhead wall units cleanly conceal a built-in canopy extractor above the induction hob, keeping sightlines sharp and uncluttered.

☕🌱 Custom Corner Feature: Floating Tavola Light Oak display shelves fitted neatly into the return corner perfect for styling glassware, plants, or daily coffee essentials.

🪨 Crisp Contrast Surfaces: 25mm Causeway square-edge worktops with matching upstands, introducing subtle light stone texture against the dark graphite cabinetry.

☀️🌱 POWERING CEDARWOOD WITH CLEAN SOLAR ENERGY 🌱☀️

At Cedarwood Furniture, crafting bespoke kitchens and fine joinery isn't just about the finished product it’s about how responsibly we manufacture right here in Wexford.

Over the past few years, we’ve made major solar PV investments across our operations, and the numbers speak for themselves:

🏭 Camross Manufacturing Facility (Active since July 2021): Over the past five years, solar power has become an integral part of our daily workshop operations. Year-to-date in 2026, the system has averaged 41% of our factory's total electricity demand powering panel saws, CNC machines, and assembly lines directly on daylight.

🏢 New Ross Showroom (Installed July 2026): Since going live this summer, our showroom setup has completely covered 100% of our power usage, lighting and running our displays while exporting clean surplus energy back to the national grid! ⚡

🔜 Enniscorthy Showroom Up Next: We’re not stopping there plans are already in motion to roll out solar PV across our Enniscorthy showroom next, bringing our entire retail and production footprint under renewable energy.

🌿 Sustainable Irish Manufacturing: Continually cutting our grid reliance means every kitchen, wardrobe, and commercial project leaving our workshops carries a cleaner, lighter environmental footprint.

Investing in local Wexford infrastructure and renewable energy keeps our craft future-proof, efficient, and sustainable for the years ahead.

🧂🌿 Kitchen Tip: Maximise Small Gaps with a 150mm Pull-Out Spice Rack 🫒✨

Have an awkward 150mm gap next to your cooker, or trying to make every centimetre count in a compact kitchen layout?

Don't fill it with a blank spacer panel turn it into dedicated, high-access storage with a two-tier front pull-out spice rack.

Why It’s a Game Changer for Kitchen Storage:

Zero Wasted Space: Purpose-built for ultra-slim 150mm base cabinets, turning leftover awkward gaps into hard-working storage.

Smooth & Stable Movement: Engineered with heavy-duty soft-close runners that stay completely stable when pulled meaning no wobbling or glass bottles clinking over inside.

Sleek Anthracite Finish: Fitted with modern anthracite metal shelving that looks smart and wipes clean in seconds.

Keep your cooking oils and seasonings right beside your prep and hob zone without cluttering up valuable counter space! 🍳🧂

🧺🌿 Kitchen & Home Tip: Planning the Perfect Utility Room 🧺✨

A well-designed utility room keeps laundry chaos, mud, and everyday clutter out of your main kitchen living space. If you're building or renovating, here are the essential details to get right:

1. Smart Ergonomics & Appliances

Raise Your Machines: Elevating side-by-side washers and dryers to waist height saves your back add pull-out laundry basket shelves underneath for easy loading.

Stack When Space is Tight: In compact rooms, vertical stacking frees up valuable floor run for counter space or tall larder storage.

Noise Buffer: Use solid-core interior doors to keep high-speed spin cycles quiet from adjacent open-plan rooms.

2. High-Capacity Storage

Floor-to-Ceiling Cabinetry: Dedicated tall cupboards hide ironing boards, sweeping brushes, mop buckets, and robot vacuum docks behind seamless doors.

Deep Drawer Runners: Swap bottom shelves for heavy-duty drawers to store bulky detergent boxes, sports gear, and separate recycling sorting bins out of sight.

3. Hardworking Wet Zones

Extra-Deep Sinks & Pull-Out Taps: A Belfast sink or deep stainless bowl paired with a flexible spray hose tap makes soaking clothes, cleaning muddy boots, or washing small pets effortless.

4. Power & Climate Control

Ventilation: Dedicated extraction or a dehumidifier is crucial for indoor drying to prevent condensation and damp build-up.

Cabinet Power Points: Plan internal sockets inside cupboards to keep cordless stick vacuums permanently charging without messy trailing cords across the counter.

5. Hardwearing Finishes

Stick to durable, moisture-resistant surfaces like quartz or high-grade laminate worktops, paired with porcelain tile or luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring that can handle wet boots and spills.
