Customer Notice,
It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the tough decision to close our family run business Elegant Lighting. We have grown from small beginnings on main street Newbridge 7 years ago to what we thought would be our forever home in Ballymany Shopping Centre. However, after a strong start and like alot of businesses the effects of covid coupled with ever increasing running costs and tighter margins on our business, has left us in this position. We as a family felt the best decision was to close our business which we have put endless hours of effort into creating and maintaining. We have done alot of soul searching in the background as how to make things better.
We felt that our suppliers were the right fit for us and we constantly tried to have products that you our customers won’t see everywhere thus making our products different. The last year especially has been difficult so unfortunately we will be closing our doors on 31st October.
We would like to take this opportunity to firstly thank every customer who walked through our doors and supported us over the years it’s so much appreciated. We would also like to thank our good neighbours Colourtrend and Spar especially John and Tony.
We will be having a closing down sale on all our surplus stock and display items so keep an eye on our social media pages.
Lastly, as the owner of Elegant Lighting I want to say a huge thank you to all my family who put their heart and soul into the business, which we just refer to as ‘the shop’ in every conversation we ever have. To Jackie, Hayley, K’leis, Jessie, Zara, Martina, Ann, Nicole, Leon from the bottom of my heart thank you. Sometimes in life you do your best and it doesn’t work out.
