Why would you settle with visiting one market only, when you can hit two on the same day?!šŸ™ˆ
My mom said I was crazy, I went anyways, and let me tell you, no regrets!

You definitely want to save this one if you are planning to make a trip to Hungary!
And if you aren’t already, make sure you follow me, because I’ll be back soon with another highlight video of another location that I went to on the same day, I’ll also share some more information on the KecskemĆ©t one from day 2, because that Sunday trip absolutely blew my mind and it will yours too! ✨

Quick edit, I recorded this video last Friday, so when I say I got these items back 2 days ago, I mean on Wednesday the 13th (just to set the record straight) They are back in the booth now, where they belong, waiting for their new home.
The person who was stealing from the booth all through most of last year was caught, and while I only got back these four items out of the 70+ they took, I had my closure and moved on.
Having to deal with this type of issue again (eventhough the offender is a different person this time) is highly distressing, but with the previous experience behind me I have much more confidence this time.
As I mentioned in the video (apologies, I know it’s a long one, but I felt like I owe you an update) I’m very grateful for all your support and kind words.
I shall keep you in the loop as this case progresses.
Love you all šŸ¤

Hall of Shame šŸ’«

Maybe I was naive when I assumed that after prosecuting the woman who was stealing thousands of euros worth of stock from the booth last year - I can feel safe again…turns out I was wrong.

Yesterday I was tidying in the booth when I noticed a pair of brass candleholders missing from the miniature collection. Small, but striking piece, in a very visible location, right under the camera…sure no one would be that bold…looked around to see, maybe they were picked up that put down somewhere else, checked it with the sales guys to see if they sold them over the weekend but maybe forgot to record the purchase…no joy

Spent a couple of hours today going through CCTV footage to see what happened, and low and behold, spotted a ā€œladyā€ coming in, picking them up, checking the price, putting them back while a number of people were browsing around her in the area, and once the crowd was gone, picked them up again and hid them behind the newspapers she was holding in her hand, than did a quick walk around and 2 minutes later left through the entrance…

So while I’m sharing the footage with the Guards and giving them my statement, I’ll also hang her photo in the booth - just to save her the trouble coming back for more…

Petty? Maybe. But since I spent half of my afternoon checking CCTV, I think it’s only fair that she spends some time too on my Wall of Shame. In a prime location of course.

These beauties deserve a permanent spot on my grid. ✨Now available on my Vinted - link in bio. šŸ’«

✨ the may edit ✨

Let’s break up the miniature series a little - I have plenty more pieces to show you, and they are coming soon, don’t you worry - but I felt like starting something new.

The container chronicles series and the flatlays take much more of time that I could afford right now, and yet I’m still committed to sort through everything there that might have got a little bit forgotten about - don’t ask me how and why because these pieces are all stunning, but that’s ADHD for you I guess, out of sight out of mind at its finest.
So here we are, a new monthly edit of items that I’m finding in my boxes as I’m slowly sorting through my storage unit.
I might even do two every month if I manage šŸ¤žšŸ¼ starting from June, certainly not in May yet because I’m heading over to visit my family at the end of the month for a well deserved little break.
And while I’m officially on a sourcing ban - for quite obvious reasons šŸ™ˆ - I’ll definitely visit my favorite flea there and will post everything I find worthy of in my stories, and who knows, I might even get just a very limited selection of bits if I find some pieces that are really really good.

So long story short, I hope you’ll love this edit as much as I do - I mean how could I even forget about them?! 🤯 - they’re all available on my Vinted now (link in bio) or feel free to claim them in the comments if that suits better!
(Prices don’t include postage.)

As always, thank you so much for being here! šŸ¤

When I first layed eyes on this old mail sorting table (which is a story on its own, for another time) I knew straight away that it would make the perfect home for my personal collection of miniatures that quietly grew into what it is today in the last few years.
I knew I wanted to present them in a way that highlights their beauty, and while I was waiting for the right idea, the idea found me.
I love the outcome, years of intentional collecting and a lucky coincidence crossing paths…moments like this feel like a warm path on the shoulder confirming that I’m right where I need to be.

The miniature collection is now available in the booth in Solas.
The first online drop is coming very soonā€¦āœØ
