Pot Marigold.Handmade is a Sligo based business run by Yerlin Brady, passionate about natural living, arts & crafts, organic horticulture, and nature photography. Our products are made in small batches from natural ingredients. Local when possible. We use plant dyes, and clays for colour but also for it's benefits on the skin. We use essential oils, plant-based oils, butters, and we enriched our

body products with calendula oil, which is known as a healer and soothing medicinal flower. We don't use palm oil, preservatives, or quemicals in our products and we use recycled paper for our soap packaging. Our aim is to bring joy and promote natural self-care through lovingly and unique crafted gifts.

39 isn't the most exciting number, but I have a feeling there's plenty of good still to come. Even though life has been challenging at times so far, I'm thankful for the years behind me, hopeful for the years ahead, and grateful for the joy found in the little things.🌱

If you didn’t know, soap is the result of a chemical reaction called saponification 🧼

For my Pure Ebony Soap,I use activated charcoal, along with lavender and tea tree essential oils, creating a naturally dark bar loved for its deep-cleansing feel and herbal scent 🌿

Somebody said to me not that long ago, “Why do you add flowers to your candles? It’s a lot of work.

And honestly, because I like to do it 🌸

I do things because I enjoy doing them.I like experimenting with tiny flowers I find along the way, seeing how they press and how they look once added to a candle.

This little one is Greater Stitchwort, and once pressed it turned out really cute, I find the wildflowers are the best for pressing.

It also makes my candles a little bit different from others, and I think that’s part of the beauty of handmade. Handmade pieces are about the little details and the feeling they create while you enjoy them 🙂

Comfrey is another favourite in the garden 🌿

Loved by pollinators, useful around the veggie patch, and traditionally used in herbal skincare, it became one of the inspiration ingredients for my handmade foot balm for tired, hardworking feet 🦶

Calendula is loved for its calming and gentle properties, while lavender and tea tree essential oils give a fresh, relaxing feeling.

For anyone spending long hours on their feet don’t forget to give them a little care too!
I also recently wrote a little about comfrey and why I love growing it 💜

To be honest, I only made a small batch at first to see if they would be of interest to you all. I received good feedback, so I’m really happy with how this year’s launch turned out 🌸

The last ones are going to the this week, And all of the year-round scents are currently available, except for Citrus Joy 🥰
