The first night of the safari, we were lucky enough to spot this incredible leopard. Watching it move so effortlessly through the wild was a moment I’ll never forget. That encounter inspired me to paint this piece—a way of holding onto the magic of that first sighting.

There’s something truly captivating about leopards: powerful, elusive, and impossibly beautiful. I’m so happy to finally share this painting with you.

Had a great night at my brother Michael’s gig in Swagman Bar on Sunday. 🤘🎸

Brilliant venue, great music, and a fantastic atmosphere. It was lovely to see Michael up on stage doing what he loves, and the whole band were excellent, you all put on a great show. Really enjoyed the night. Looking forward to the next one! 🎸🤘

This painting was commissioned from a photograph of Doon lough sent to me by a customer. Huge thanks to her for trusting me with her image and for sharing such beautiful photography — it became the starting point for my first painting of 2026.

Quiet, in-between moments.
An abandoned boat, a still lake, and a sky built from memory — inspired by the northern lights that filled the sky just two nights ago with shifting colour.
