10 layout mistakes that will ruin your new kitchen ❌

We see people obsess over door colours and worktop finishes while completely ignoring how the room actually functions.

If you are planning a renovation this year, you need to stop focusing on trends and start focusing on engineering. Never leave a useless dust gap above your cabinets. Never squeeze an island into a room that actually needs a peninsula. And never put your dishwasher away from your main cutlery drawer.

These 10 strict rules separate a kitchen that just looks nice from a kitchen that actually works with your daily life.

Not sure where to start with your new kitchen? Read this.

The process is simpler than most people think. Here is exactly how it works from your very first conversation with us to the day your kitchen is complete.

It starts with a free design consultation. You can do this two ways depending on what suits you best.

Come into our showroom and see everything in person. Walk through real kitchens, feel the quality of the cabinetry, experience the finishes and storage solutions up close, and sit down with one of our designers to talk through your space. Most people leave with a completely different understanding of what is possible and a confirmed date for their full design presentation.

Or if life is busy and getting to a showroom is not practical right now, we can do everything virtually. Same conversation, same designer, same outcome. You share your plans, we talk through your layout, your budget, and your lifestyle, and we show your kitchen coming to life in 3D on screen in real time before the call ends.

Either way you will leave with clarity on what your kitchen could look like, what it will cost, and exactly what happens next.

From there we move into the full design stage. Your designer works up a detailed 3D design built around how you actually live. We refine it together until every detail feels right.

Once everything is finalised, design and payment, we confirm your delivery and installation dates. You know exactly when to expect us and we keep you updated every step of the way.

Then we install. Our team works to a clear schedule so there are no surprises and no guesswork on your end.

Then we hand over. Every drawer, every door, every appliance checked before we leave. We do not go until the kitchen is exactly as it should be.

That is the full process. No mystery. No confusion. Just a kitchen designed properly from the very first conversation.

Ready to start? Send us a message and we will take it from there.

This is why your kitchen feels chaotic and how to fix it properly...

Most kitchens are arranged around how they look rather than how the family actually uses them every day. In this video we share five things we have learned from designing kitchens for thousands of Irish homes including building everything around the hob, grouping mess in one efficient wet zone, storing things at the height you use them, creating a safe route for children, and always protecting one completely clear surface.

Topics covered: kitchen arrangement tips, how to arrange a kitchen, kitchen layout ideas, kitchen wet zone, kitchen hob placement, kitchen storage tips, kitchen design Ireland, kitchen design UK.

Nobody tells you these 6 kitchen design details before you spend the money

Most kitchen advice focuses on the obvious decisions. These six details sit underneath all of that and are almost always what separates a kitchen that looks good from one that feels genuinely considered. In this video we cover running the same stone as a full height splashback, choosing earthy colours over safe defaults, designing a multifunctional island, creating a dedicated appliance station, specifying pocket doors on larder cabinets, and always choosing brushed brass hardware over chrome or white.

Topics covered: kitchen design details, waterfall splashback kitchen, earthy kitchen colours, multifunctional kitchen island, appliance garage kitchen, pocket doors kitchen, brushed brass kitchen hardware, kitchen design Ireland, kitchen design.

3 reasons you should always put your hob on the island.

Most people position the hob on a wall run without ever questioning whether that is actually the right decision. In this video we cover three reasons why the hob always belongs on the island including never cooking with your back to the room, why a venting hob eliminates the need for an overhead extractor, and why a flat glass induction hob is far easier to keep clean than a gas hob on a central island.

Utility rooms work hard in family homes, so they need to be designed to do much more than simply house a washer and dryer.

In this utility room, organisation was a top priority. Raised washer with additional storage below while making everyday tasks far easier on your back. Plenty of counter space allows for folding and sorting, while a combination of open and closed storage ensures everything has its place.

A dedicated hanging area, pull-out laundry bins, and thoughtful cabinetry details mean this room functions beautifully day in and day out.

Beautiful? Absolutely. But more importantly, it works incredibly well for every family.
