31/07/2026 - We've got the power!

Delighted to have power connected to the house (and thanks to our electrician for hooking up the mobile again so we have power here too for the next few weeks).
We're getting closer and closer to moving in (ground floor only for the moment!) but it's getting to the fun and exciting bit now.
Happy to share a glass of bubbles to celebrate 🥳🥂🥳

Our tiny home is for sale!

After 3 years we're almost ready to move into our new home. This tiny home has survived storms without a scratch (don't ask me how!) and has seen us through good times, great times and tough times too. It was even on TV!

When we bought it had seen better days and we invested a lot of time and money into it.

Details:

Cosalt Kingston 37*12 (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom)
Double glazed windows
Winter pack
Gas central heating

Things we improved!

Put in a 5kW multi fuel stove that kept us so toasty in the winter time
Insulated all water pipes under the mobile
New carpet in the open plan and 2nd bedroom
New lino in both bathrooms and kitchen
Added storage to bathrooms and main bedroom
New kitchen doors and handles
Fully painted (needs a little refresh after 3 years)
Eco-friendly bulbs/lights
Blackout blinds

We're also going to include some key pieces of furniture which will not be moving with us to the new house.

Divan double bed (and mattress if wanted)
Sofa bed in living room
TV stand in living room
Table and 4 chairs in dining area
Desk and Kallax cube storage in 2nd bedroom (used as an office)
Appliances such as fridge/freezer, oven and hob are obviously staying!

7 years of Dan-Éire Designs 🤍

Over 600 projects later… I still can’t quite believe it.

What started as a love for good layout, clever kitchens and calm, Scandinavian-inspired spaces has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined.

In the last 7 years I’ve:
• Designed 600+ homes and spaces
• Met some of the most interesting, talented interior designers
• Worked with incredible suppliers (so lucky with the people in this industry)
• Seen my work featured on TV
• Created the Self Build Starter Pack to help overwhelmed self-builders actually enjoy the process
• Opened a second business with my wife 🤍
• And we’re nearly at the end of building our own home (finally!)

There have been long days, tight deadlines, brave decisions, big risks and plenty of lessons. But I wouldn’t change it.

A very special thank you to Michelle – my right-hand woman for the past 5.5 years. So many projects, so many drawings, so many voice notes 😅 I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.

And to every client, collaborator and supporter – thank you for trusting me with your homes.

Call-out for Vendors/Stall Holders!

We’re excited to share that will be hosting Kilconly Christmas Market on Sunday 30th November 2025, from 12pm to 5pm in Kilconly Community Centre – and stallholder applications are now open!

We’re looking for a lovely mix of stalls selling:
-Handmade crafts
-Art, prints & cards
-Gifts, homewares & decorations
-Local food, festive treats and more

A certain number of tables can be provided - but if you have your own, please bring it with you. Please note that power is extremely limited, so only a small number of stalls will have access to electricity.
