Some jobs are more than upholstery. ❤️
We were honoured to be part DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland for Carter and his amazing family. A whole community came together for one little boy, and we're so proud we got to add our bit of comfort. 🥹

Meet the bench that started as a pencil sketch! ✏️ Yes, everything we make is handmade, even our sketches!
🤍
Our client loved their dining space but didn't want to lose the radiator. They sent us a photo of their idea, and we designed the bench base around it.
And it turned out gorgeous! 😍
The top lid has a vent, so the heat still flows out, and the radiator is easy to reach from both sides. It's cosy, comfortable and made to fit the space perfectly, with a walnut finish, no storage as our client asked, and soft Gemma water-repellent fabric in colour no. 6. 💦

Custom-made sensory room panels for FCJ Secondary School Bunclody

Every panel is designed and upholstered by Cushywall , in a range of fabrics and colours, to create a calm, cozy space where kids can regulate and reset during the school day.
The rounded, arched shape of each panel is a big part of what makes the space feel calming — soft curves instead of hard corners create a gentler, more enveloping feel, with no sharp edges. It's a simple design choice that turns a plain room into somewhere that actually feels safe to be in.

This is a genuinely versatile way to bring a calming, sensory-friendly space into almost any room: a school, a therapy room, a bedroom at home — the padded panels can be shaped and arranged to fit whatever space you're working with.

We're delighted to have been part of this project, and to see the space go from bare walls to somewhere the kids can truly relax in.

Big wall energy. 🖤🤎

Forget the small headboard tucked behind your pillows...this is what happens when upholstery takes over the whole wall. Floor to ceiling, panel to panel, one continuous sweep of soft, tailored fabric that makes the room feel finished the second you walk in.

The shade doing all the heavy lifting: #09 Matt Velvet, beige-brown. It's our number one request, and once you see it catching lamplight like this, you'll understand why. Rich but not dark. Warm but not busy. It just works, in almost any bedroom.

The floor-to-ceiling effect, broken down:
●No hard stop above the bed — the wall just flows
● Velvet + warm lighting = instant "boutique hotel" mood
● Pairs effortlessly with wood, brass, and mirror finishes
● Panel widths, height, and framing all made to your exact wall

This is bespoke in the real sense, measured on-site, designed for your room, upholstered by hand, and fitted by us. Start to finish, it's ours to get right. Free measuring visit. Free design consult. We install it too. That's the whole Cushywall promise 🤎

We love it when our clients trust us to transform their space...and this one is a perfect example! 🩷

Our lovely client came to us tired of the wobbly, bulky headboard attached to the bed, and showed us exactly the style and design they had in mind. So we designed and fitted upholstered wall panels straight onto the wall instead — sturdy, stable, and with absolutely no wobble in sight!
The result? A soft, comfortable surface that fills the alcove beautifully from top to bottom and side to side, wrapped in our gorgeous Gemma fabric, just as they envisioned. It's cosy, it's elegant, and it feels like a proper hug every time you lean back into bed. 🥰

Nothing makes us happier than bringing our clients' ideas to life. Thank you for letting us be part of your home!🤗

As always, every Cushywall custom- made project comes with free in-home measurement, consultation, and installation, because we want the whole experience to feel just as easy as the finished result looks.

The details make the difference 🧡

Every inch of this bench and bay window seat was upholstered by hand. Fully bespoke, made to fit this exact space. We used a rich burnt orange fabric that adds warmth and contrast against the grey cabinetry, with clean, tailored lines throughout.

Great upholstery isn't just about the fabric, it's the fit, the finish, and how seamlessly it wraps around every angle of a custom space like this.

Custom colours, custom fabrics, custom fit. Built around your space, not the other way round.

"If this wall could speak… it would whisper.
'Someone cared. Really cared. About every measurement, every panel, every tiny detail — because this wasn't just a job. It was someone's home.' 😍

Beautiful headboard with brass metal trim in a wooden frame. Every detail intentional. Every inch - ours. This is what happens when a bedroom stops being just a room and becomes a sanctuary.
