Since Creative Wood was founded in 1993, our aim has always been to produce top quality kitchens and furniture while never compromising on materials or craftsmanship. This approach has led us to the creation of a
wide range of projects that were both challenging and satisfying, establishing an excellent reputation for Creative Wood. We believe that the individuality of every person, their differen

t tastes and needs, should be expressed through our work for them. Every
kitchen is made to individual commission fulfilling those tastes and needs and complementing their home environment. As the centre of family life the kitchen has to provide a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere and a clean and practical space for cooking and
entertaining that can take the strains of everyday use. The beauty of a Creative Wood kitchen does not only show itself on the
surface. All doors are constructed by us entirely of solid hardwood, hung in a hardwood frame with inset brass or stainless steel butt hinges,
drawers are dovetailed hardwood. The interior carcasses are all made from solid pine, finished with solid hardwood or granite worktops, resulting in furniture that will last through generations. From the initial concept to installation superior craftsmanship is our top priority. As design is only limited by imagination, our customer’s wishes and needs are always an integral part of the design process. In our workshop our craftsmen transform these ideas into solid wood, resulting in unique and individual furniture.

Ash in-frame cabinetry is finished in Farrow & Ball’s French Grey and Paint & Paper’s Slate III, with flat-slab doors detailed with V-groove edging reminiscent of a skinny Shaker door. Ornate antique brass handles complement the Quooker UK tap and hinged wall lighting, reinforcing the room’s understated rustic character. A 100% natural Calacatta Brazil quartzite brings a luxurious, cohesive finish across the worktops and backsplash, softened by a full bull-nose edge.

The project respects the existing building's heritage while giving it a fresh, relaxed and highly considered new identity. Modern in its cabinetry, functionality, yet deeply influenced by the quiet palette, natural materials and architectural character of a rustic French country house.
