Since 2011 we offer expert clothing alterations, bridal wear services, gents tailoring, custom dressmaking, leatherwork, curtain making/alterations – from conveniently located studio in the heart of Wexford. Nadia’s passion for dressmaking was born with her and as early as being the school age Nadia started creating designs of modern clothes for herself

and her friends. After finishing school she enrolled in tailoring college as she wanted to do this professionally. After the studies Nadia found a job in a tailoring studio where she was making gents suits. For an exceptional job she was soon transferred to luxury class studio, where she was making garments for the elite as singers, actors, politicians, etc. Not getting enough satisfaction from her work, Nadia went back to study. This time she had chosen dressmaking and fashion. Finished with honors, she came back to the studio where she was given a team of dressmakers to manage. At the age of 23 she was managing a team of 16, who were making garments by the sketches and patterns Nadia had created. Some time later Nadia opened her own sewing studio where she was sewing all kinds of garments and curtains. When Nadia moved to Ireland, she was already a universal tailor and for this reason it wasn’t so hard to find a job for her doing clothes and curtains alterations. Three years later Nadia gained enough experience and knowledge of Irish custom and decided it would be the perfect time to be her own boss. For her 50th birthday, Nadia received a present from her late husband – a key to her own sewing studio. First name of the business was – Wexford Sewing Shop, but years passed and Nadia had overgrown that name and it was time for a change. Nadia’s Sewing Creations perfectly represent the creativity and experience we have to offer. It’s a unique place where not only you can get your garments fixed, fitted and created from the scratch, but you can also get beautiful styles of net curtains, drapes and pelmets to decorate your house which are custom-made by your windows size to create elegance and comfort at your home. Most experienced alterations studio is located just around the corner from Hore’s Stores, it’s not going to be hard to find Nadia’s Sewing Creations on Henrietta Street. My lovely customer brought me an Indian saree, a dress made of natural silk. I drafted a pattern, creating a kimono-style blouse to best showcase the fabric’s design. From the remaining part of the saree, I transformed it into a skirt. In the end, it became a cohesive suit, in which the fabric’s embroidery and design stand out beautifully, allowing the pattern of the fabric to be fully appreciated.💕
