Olannmor Olannmor is all about weaving with chunky, natural materials. Based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland Wicklow Ireland.

Olannmor is a cooperation by Anouk O'Connell and Frederique van Buuren from Co. Together, we bring beautiful chunkyknit and weaving products to the Irish market. We make a range of hand-knitted blankets, cushions and throws and fashion accessories like scarves and hats, and we sell kits for knitting and weaving, which are all sold under the name "Olannmor" - Irish for 'big wool'. Back to school season is here! Which also means us parents might be able to hear our own thoughts again.

We have a new workshop; During this 2,5 hour workshop you will learn the weaving basics of warping the loom, tassels, plain weave and finishing your piece.

I had the honour of working with all pupils in Carysfort NS in Arklow to make two coastal inspired pieces. We created one summery beach view and one stormy sea.
Both pieces are now installed in the school for the kids to admire their work every day!
