Belmont London set of parochet (ark curtain), Bima cover and Torah cover. The set was contributed by Russell, Justin and Nick Kett in loving memory of Melinda Kett a”h.
The set will be in use every year from Hanukkah till Pesach, while BeResh*t (Genesis) is read. The design incorporates a single tree representing both the tree of life and the tree of knowledge. The seven boughs of leaves represent the three avot (patriarchs) and the four imahot (matriarchs). The main pasuk is “The dream that you have dreamed” - Jacob’s reaction to Joseph’s dream. The letters רחל are highlighted as this was Melinda’s Hebrew name- Rachel. The design features the celestial Jerusalem and Kever Rachel and the mountains are blooming with flowering lilies, as written in midrash Shemot Raba, that Mount Sinai flowered after the Torah was given to Am Israel.

ועכשיו הפרוכת הלבנה “אבינו מלכנו”. גם פרוכת זו עשויה בהדפסה דיגיטלית והאותיות מודגשות בצבע זהב. ברקע הפרוכת מופיעים טקסטים מתפילת “נתנה תוקף” הנפלאה. הוספתי גם את התגובה של הלקוח לאחר קבלת הפרוכת. זו הפרוכת הרביעית שלי שהם מקבלים והפעם הראשונה שאני מקבלת מהם תגובה כזאת. עד עכשיו היו מאד קורקטיים” “קיבלנו. יפה מאד. תודה”
And here are the images of the white High Holy Days parochet. It is also digitally printed on cotton sateen. The letters of the main text are also painted in with metallic paint. The background design includes texts from the Netane Tokef prayer.
I also added here some of the comments sent to me by the customer upon receiving it. This is the fourth parochet they ordered from me. Till now they were very laconic: “Parochet received. Very nice. Thank you.” This is the first time I get such detailed and excited feedback.

This is the blue parochet that I made for the Bais Medrash of Bergenfield NJ. The colors are a bit darker than in real life, as the only way to capture the texture is in low lighting.
הבטחתי ואני מקיימת. אלה תמונות של הפרוכת הכחולה. בימים הקרובים אפרסם גם את הפרוכת הלבנה.
הצבעים קצת כהים יחסית למציאות - הדרך היחידה לצלם טוב את הטקסטורה היא בתאורה יחסית נמוכה.
