Sometimes, the most beautiful part of a design isn’t the biggest feature. It’s the detail you might not notice straight away.

In this bathroom, it’s the way the recessed niche sits within the tiled wall, the texture of the fluted glass, and the contrast of the black fittings against the soft, warm stone.

Nothing is shouting for attention. Everything works together.

For me, that’s the beauty of thoughtful design: creating a space that feels effortless, even when every detail has been carefully planned.

Who says you can’t create an extra bathroom without adding an extension?

For my clients from Britain, we transformed part of their existing bedroom into a small but perfectly functional en-suite bathroom — adding both practicality and value to their home.

A lovely couple from England approached me with a vision: to transform part of their bedroom into a brand-new ensuite bathroom.

But creating a beautiful bathroom is about so much more than choosing tiles and fittings. It’s about meticulous planning, where every detail matters.

From the initial measurements and layout plans to the construction of the new walls, every stage is carefully considered. The tile layout, the positioning and height of the taps, the shower head, the glass screen and every fitting are all planned to work together seamlessly.

Why? Because the best results happen when good design meets precise planning — creating a space that not only looks beautiful but works perfectly in everyday life.

👷‍♀️ Hard hat on… my new fashion accessory……we’re nearly there!

This renovation is getting very close to the finish line, and it’s always so exciting to see the transformation taking shape.

The demolition is done ✅
The new installations are in ✅
The plasterboard walls are up ✅
Most of the tiling in both bathrooms is done ✅

Next up: finishing the remaining tiling, new flooring and then all those final details that bring everything together. ✨

And I have to give a special shout-out to my dream builders — a father-and-son team Victor & Daniel who I’ve been working with for years. ❤️

Having tradespeople you trust makes such a huge difference in a renovation. They know how I work, I know how they work, and together we can solve problems, make decisions on site and keep everything moving.

Interior design isn’t just about the pretty finished photos. There’s a LOT that happens behind the scenes!

Plans → demolition → building → tiling → finishing touches → beautiful home.

And yes… sometimes the interior designer needs a hard hat! 😂👷‍♀️

Renovating a bathroom is definitely not for the faint-hearted!

It starts with a lot of dust, drilling, broken tiles, pipes everywhere and, quite honestly, complete chaos. But this is exactly why having amazing builders you can trust makes all the difference. When the builder and designer work as a team, solving problems together and knowing you’ve got each other’s backs, the stress just disappears. And somehow, from all this chaos… we create something beautiful.” ✨🔨🛁

Luxury is often found in the details.

The warmth of the rose-gold fittings, the architectural detail of the drop-down ceiling and the simplicity of the freestanding bath come together to create a bathroom that feels effortlessly luxurious.

Every element was carefully considered to create a sense of calm, indulgence and understated glamour.

Because a beautifully designed bathroom shouldn’t just look beautiful — it should make you feel beautiful.

Whether you’re changing the layout of a bathroom, planning a kitchen, or giving your builder a detailed tile plan, having everything professionally drawn up is so important. It helps avoid mistakes, saves time and money, and makes sure everyone knows exactly what’s being done.

And here’s the finished kitchen, built exactly from the professional plans. We went for this gorgeous, funky green, which was the colour client’s choice, and I think it adds so much personality and character to the space.
