The philosophy behind my work is based on the famous saying found in Gemara:

Ten measures of beauty descended to the world, nine were taken by Jerusalem, one by the rest of the world. (Babylonian Talmud, Kidushin, 49:2)

By my designs I wish to bring back to Jerusalem this last, universal measure of beauty, directly into your apartment. In my work, along with fine materials, exclusive furniture and sophisticated LED lighting, I extensively use objects of art: paintings, sculptures and antiques, because this is what makes a place truly unique, rather that just a dwelling, giving it an intricate and subtle character, and transforming 4 walls into YOUR home. I help you visualize your dreams about your future home and translate those dreams into reality.

Sometimes in life, we never know when things will come full circle. Ten years ago, I bought a single piece at a market in Jaffa. This week, in a shop in Cannes, France, the seller offered me nine pieces from a set of ten, explaining that the tenth had been broken or lost. Little did he know that the missing piece had been waiting in my home for a decade. Now all ten are together. ✨

Parfois, dans la vie, on ne sait jamais quand la boucle se bouclera. Il y a dix ans, j’ai acheté une pièce dans un marché à Jaffa. Cette semaine, dans une boutique à Cannes, le vendeur m’a proposé neuf pièces d’un ensemble de dix, la dernière ayant été cassée ou perdue. Il ignorait que la pièce manquante attendait chez moi depuis dix ans. Aujourd’hui, les dix sont réunies. ✨

לפעמים בחיים אנחנו לא יודעים מתי ואיך ייסגר המעגל. לפני עשר שנים קניתי פריט אחד בשוק ביפו. השבוע, בחנות בקאן שבצרפת, המוכר הציע לי תשעה פריטים מתוך סט של עשרה, והסביר שהעשירי נשבר או נעלם. הוא לא ידע שהפריט שישלים את הסט מחכה אצלי בבית כבר עשור. עכשיו כל העשרה יחד, והמעגל נסגר. ✨

Une maison transformée par la couleur. Des tons rouges audacieux ont laissé place à une palette de bleus raffinée, créant un intérieur plus calme, élégant et harmonieux. La bonne utilisation de la couleur peut complètement redéfinir un espace.

בית שעבר שינוי דרך צבע. הגוונים האדומים והנועזים פינו את מקומם לפלטת כחולים מעודנת, שיצרה חלל רגוע, אלגנטי והרמוני יותר. לפעמים, בחירה נכונה של צבע יכולה לשנות לחלוטין את התחושה בבית.

The most meaningful piece in our sukkah is an old wooden window with a Star of David design, rescued from a building being demolished in Jerusalem’s Geula neighborhood. I asked the workers to save its four windows, but found them all in the rubble container. I managed to rescue one. Its glass was shattered, yet its craftsmanship remained. Every Sukkot, I hang it on our wall: a small piece of old Jerusalem, given a new home.

L’objet le plus émouvant de notre soucca est une ancienne fenêtre en bois dessinant une étoile de David, sauvée d’un immeuble en démolition dans le quartier de Guéoula à Jérusalem. J’avais demandé aux ouvriers de préserver les quatre fenêtres, mais je les ai retrouvées dans la benne. J’ai pu en sauver une. Les vitres étaient brisées, mais le travail du bois avait gardé toute sa beauté. Chaque Souccot, je l’accroche au mur : un petit morceau de la Jérusalem d’autrefois qui retrouve sa place.

הפריט הכי מרגש בסוכה שלנו הוא חלון עץ ישן בצורת מגן דוד, שהצלתי מבניין שנהרס בשכונת גאולה בירושלים. ביקשתי מהפועלים לשמור את ארבעת החלונות, אבל כשהגעתי מצאתי את כולם במכולת הפסולת. הצלחתי להציל אחד. הזכוכיות היו שבורות, אבל עבודת העץ היפה נשארה. בכל חג סוכות אני תולה אותו על הקיר: פיסה מירושלים של פעם, שמצאה אצלנו בית חדש.

Concrete & Aubergine

A very small apartment, designed for a woman living on her own who wanted a calm, elegant monocolor interior. The challenge was to make every square meter work while still creating a true social heart: a central space where she could host friends for her famous French w**e & cheese dinners.

Un très petit appartement, conçu pour une femme vivant seule qui souhaitait un intérieur monochrome, calme et élégant. Le défi était d’optimiser chaque mètre carré tout en créant un véritable cœur convivial : un espace central où elle pourrait recevoir ses amis autour de ses célèbres soirées françaises vin & fromage.

דירה קטנה מאוד, שתוכננה עבור אישה המתגוררת לבדה וביקשה עיצוב מונוכרומטי, רגוע ואלגנטי. האתגר היה לנצל בחוכמה כל מטר רבוע, ובמקביל ליצור לב חברתי אמיתי לדירה: חלל מרכזי שבו תוכל לארח חברים לערבי היין והגבינות הצרפתיים המפורסמים שלה.
