The philosophy behind my work is based on the famous saying found in Gemara:

Ten measures of beauty descended to the world, nine were taken by Jerusalem, one by the rest of the world. (Babylonian Talmud, Kidushin, 49:2)

By my designs I wish to bring back to Jerusalem this last, universal measure of beauty, directly into your apartment. In my work, along with fine materials, exclusive furniture a

nd sophisticated LED lighting, I extensively use objects of art: paintings, sculptures and antiques, because this is what makes a place truly unique, rather that just a dwelling, giving it an intricate and subtle character, and transforming 4 walls into YOUR home. I help you visualize your dreams about your future home and translate those dreams into reality.

Somewhere in Israel, inside an abandoned warehouse and hidden within an old iron cabinet, an extraordinary discovery appeared — a pair of Chinese porcelain candlesticks created between 1740–1750 in the Japonisme style.
Their bronze base, covered in gold plating, still shines after nearly three centuries. At 30 cm high and preserved in flawless condition, they carry with them a silent journey through time.
How these objects survived from 18th century France all the way to Israel in 2026 remains a mystery no archive may ever fully explain.

Quelque part en Israël, dans un entrepôt abandonné et cachés à l’intérieur d’une ancienne armoire en fer, une découverte extraordinaire est apparue — une paire de bougeoirs en porcelaine chinoise créés entre 1740 et 1750 dans le style japonisant.
Leur base en bronze recouverte d’or brille encore après près de trois siècles. Hauts de 30 cm et conservés dans un état parfait, ils portent avec eux un voyage silencieux à travers le temps.
Comment ces objets ont survécu de la France du XVIIIe siècle jusqu’à Israël en 2026 reste un mystère qu’aucune archive ne pourra peut-être jamais expliquer.

אי שם בארץ, בתוך מחסן עזוב וארון ברזל ישן, נחשפה תגלית יוצאת דופן — זוג פמוטי פורצלן סיני שנוצרו בין השנים 1740–1750 בסגנון ג׳פוניזציה.
הבסיס עשוי ברונזה מצופה זהב, ועדיין זוהר כמעט שלוש מאות שנה אחרי. בגובה 30 ס״מ ובמצב מושלם ללא אף פגם, הם נושאים איתם מסע דומם דרך תקופות, מדינות ואנשים.
איך שרדו הפמוטים האלו מצרפת של המאה ה־18 ועד ישראל בשנת 2026 — כנראה יישאר תעלומה שאין לה תשובה מלאה.

When Space Becomes a Feeling

Some exhibitions are seen — others are felt.
David Zylbermann’s exhibition invites you to slow down — to notice light, materials, and the quiet dialogue between space and art. Moving through it, you begin to feel how small decisions — proportion, framing, light — shape the entire experience.
As art critic Hagit Argaman writes: “The works do not seek to capture the eye, but to create a space — everything feels precise, balanced, and deeply present.”

יש תערוכות שרואים — ויש כאלה שמרגישים.
התערוכה של דויד זילברמן מזמינה להאט, להתבונן באור, בחומרים ובקשר שבין חלל לאמנות. תוך כדי תנועה בחלל, מגלים איך פרטים קטנים — פרופורציות, מסגור ואור — יוצרים חוויה שלמה.
כפי שכתבה מבקרת האמנות חגית ארגמן: “העבודות אינן מבקשות לתפוס את העין, אלא ליצור מרחב — הכל מרגיש מדויק, מאוזן ובעל נוכחות.”

Certaines expositions se regardent — d’autres se ressentent.
L’exposition de David Zylbermann invite à ralentir, à observer la lumière, les matières et le dialogue entre l’espace et l’art. En avançant, on comprend comment de petits détails — proportions, cadres et lumière — construisent toute l’expérience.
Comme l’écrit la critique d’art Hagit Argaman : « Les œuvres ne cherchent pas à capter le regard, mais à créer un espace — tout semble précis, équilibré et pleinement présent. »

"Dots". Artist Yayoi Kusama, born in Japan on 22 March 1929 (today 97 years old), has since 1954 an Obsession for Dots, for Pumpkins, for Repetitive patterns and for Infiniti mirrors. Considered as THE Queen of Pop-Art, she has influenced Andy Warhol in the past, and fashion as Vuitton in the present.

פוסט מיוחד ליום האישה

לכבוד יום האישה, מבט קטן אל פריט שהיה חלק בלתי נפרד מחיי הנשים בין השנים 1820–1920 – המניפה.
כמעט כל אישה יצאה עמה לרחוב, וכל מניפה סיפרה סיפור: על מעמד, על אופנה ועל אישיות.
היו מניפות לבוקר ומניפות לנשפים ואירועים חגיגיים.
הן יוצרו מנייר, נוצות, רקמה, משי ובדים יוקרתיים – ולעיתים נוספה להן שרשרת עדינה שנשענה על הזרוע.
מחווה קטנה לאלגנטיות, ליופי ולנוכחות הנשית לאורך ההיסטוריה.

Special Women’s Day Post

In honor of International Women’s Day, we look at a small object that once played a large role in women’s lives between 1820–1920 — the fan.
Almost every woman carried one when stepping outside, and each fan reflected status, fashion, and personal style.
There were morning fans and elegant fans reserved for balls and special occasions.
Made from paper, feathers, embroidery, silk, and luxurious fabrics, many also featured a delicate chain or ribbon to rest gracefully on the arm.
A tribute to the elegance, presence, and influence of women throughout history.

Publication spéciale pour la Journée de la Femme

À l’occasion de la Journée internationale de la femme, regard sur un objet qui faisait partie intégrante de la vie des femmes entre 1820 et 1920 : l’éventail.
Presque aucune femme ne sortait sans son éventail, symbole d’élégance, de mode et parfois de statut social.
Il existait des éventails pour la journée et d’autres pour les bals et les événements élégants.
Fabriqués en papier, plumes, broderie, soie ou tissus luxueux, ils étaient souvent accompagnés d’une petite chaîne ou d’un cordon posé sur le bras.
Un hommage à l’élégance et à la présence des femmes à travers l’histoire.
