מאחורי הקמפיין ״בשביל סוף״ יש ילדה בת עשר שמעריצה את נועה קירל. 💛

כשנועה שלחה לה ברכה אישית, קיבלנו רגע שרצינו לשתף גם איתכם.

בסרטונים נמצאות הברכה והרגע שבו סוף צפתה בה. בתוך חודשים של כאב, אשפוזים ואובדן עצמאות, יש גם התרגשות של ילדה שמקבלת מסר ממישהי שהיא כל כך אוהבת.

רבים מכם מכירים אותנו דרך הדסער והעשייה שלנו לאורך השנים. בתקופה הזאת המשפחה נמצאת במרכז חיינו: סוף עדיין לא יכולה ללכת או לנוע בכוחות עצמה, מתמודדת גם עם קשיי נשימה והתלקחויות, ולפניה עוד חודשים ארוכים של שיקום.

אנחנו נמצאים כעת בטפוזטלן, בסביבה שקטה ובהמלצת הצוותים הרפואיים, כדי לנסות לייצב את מצבה ולבנות כוחות להמשך.

תודה לנועה ולכל מי שחיברו בינינו. ותודה לכם על התרומות, ההודעות וההתגייסות מאז ששיתפנו כאן את הסיפור שלנו.

Behind the “For Suf” fundraiser is a ten-year-old girl who loves the Israeli singer Noa Kirel. 💛

When Noa sent her a personal video greeting, it gave us a moment we wanted to share with you.

These videos show the greeting and the moment Suf watched it. Amid months of pain, hospital stays and lost independence, there is also the excitement of a child receiving a message from someone she admires.

Many of you know us through Hadasaar and our work over the years. Right now, our family needs most of our time and attention. Suf still cannot walk or move independently. She also faces breathing difficulties and unpredictable flare-ups, with many months of rehabilitation ahead.

We are currently in Tepoztlán, in a quiet setting recommended by her medical teams, trying to help her stabilise and build strength for what comes next.

Thank you, Noa, and everyone who connected us. And thank you to all who have donated, reached out and shared our story.

Today, we want to share something personal about the family behind Hadasaar.

Many of you know us through our work, the places we have helped shape, or the projects and ideas we share here. Alongside that work, we are parents to three children: Ayli, Suf and Liri.

Over the past few months, our lives have changed around a medical crisis involving our ten-year-old daughter, Suf.

In June, we moved from Israel to Baja California, Mexico, to begin a new chapter in our lives and business. Five days after arriving, Suf injured her ankle. What initially seemed like a local injury developed into severe chronic pain syndromes and loss of mobility.

She had to be transferred by air ambulance to Mexico City and has since been through two hospital admissions, including two weeks in intensive care.

Today, Suf cannot walk or move independently. She continues to face severe pain, breathing difficulties and unpredictable flare-ups.

She is a girl who loves the sea, music, baking and making people laugh. We miss seeing her enjoy those things freely, without pain deciding what she can and cannot do.

Following the advice of the medical teams supporting us in Mexico and Israel, we have moved to a quieter setting outside the city to help her stabilise. Her doctors give us real hope of recovery, but her condition remains unstable and many months of intensive rehabilitation lie ahead.

Caring for Suf has greatly reduced our ability to work. Saar, our family’s main provider, has barely been able to work for months, while the costs of treatment, rehabilitation and everyday life continue.

The kindness we have received here has been extraordinary. People and community organisations have helped with accommodation, meals, transport and medical equipment. That support has carried us through these weeks. We need further help to sustain the road ahead.

We have launched “For Suf,” a fundraiser to support her rehabilitation and help our family remain beside her throughout it.

היום אנחנו רוצים לשתף אתכם במה שקורה במשפחה שלנו.

לאורך השנים הכרתם אותנו דרך העבודה, המקומות והפרויקטים שיצרנו והיינו חלק מהם. מאחורי הדסער נמצאים גם הבית שלנו ושלושת הילדים - איילי, סוף ולירי.
בחודשים האחרונים החיים שלנו השתנו סביב ההתמודדות הרפואית של סוף, בת העשר.

ביוני עברנו מישראל לבאחה שבמקסיקו, להתחיל פרק חדש בחיים ובעסק. חמישה ימים אחרי שהגענו, סוף נפגעה בקרסול. הפציעה התפתחה לכאבים קשים ולאובדן ניידות, ובהמשך היה צורך לפנות אותה באמבולנס אווירי למקסיקו סיטי.

מאז היא עברה שני אשפוזים, כולל שבועיים בטיפול נמרץ.

היום סוף לא יכולה ללכת או לזוז בכוחות עצמה. היא מתמודדת עם תסמונות כאב קשות, קשיי נשימה והתלקחויות שמשבשות שוב ושוב את הניסיון לחזור לשגרה.
סוף אוהבת את הים, מוזיקה, אפייה ולהצחיק אותנו. אנחנו מתגעגעים לראות אותה עושה את הדברים האלה בחופשיות, בלי שהכאב קובע מה אפשר ומה אי אפשר.

בהמלצת הצוותים הרפואיים בישראל ובמקסיקו, יצאנו כעת לסביבה שקטה מחוץ לעיר כדי לעזור לה להתייצב. יש תקווה ממשית להחלמה, אבל לפנינו עוד חודשים ארוכים של שיקום אינטנסיבי, והמצב עדיין לא יציב.
הטיפול בסוף והליווי שלה צמצמו מאוד את היכולת שלנו לעבוד. סער, המפרנס הראשי, כמעט אינו יכול לעבוד כבר חודשים, בזמן שהוצאות הטיפול, השיקום והמחיה ממשיכות.

קיבלנו כאן עזרה נדיבה מאנשים ומהקהילה, והיא אפשרה לנו לעבור את השבועות הקשים האלה. אנחנו זקוקים לתמיכה נוספת כדי להמשיך.

אולי התובנה החשובה ביותר שאנחנו לוקחים איתנו - היא היכולת להתבונן.
(תובנה וגם תבונה מגיעות מ- התבוננות)

בחודשים האחרונים אנחנו מרגישים שכמעט הכל משתנה עבורנו.
מדינה.
יבשת.
אקלים.
קהילה.
שפה.
עסק.

רשימות המשימות רק הולכות ומתארכות, והקצב מסביב מתגבר. אבל דווקא בתוך כל התנועה הזו, אנחנו מגלים שיש כמה דברים שנשארים קבועים לחלוטין. לא כי קיבלנו החלטה מודעת, פשוט מפני שהם כבר הפכו לחלק בלתי נפרד ממי שאנחנו.

הצורך להתבונן. לזהות תבניות.
לקרוא נוף. לזהות מים. להבין מקום לעומק לפני שמנסים לשנות אותו.

הצורך להקשיב.
לאנשים. למערכות חיות. למה שמתרחש בשקט, בקצב חדש., שצריך ללמוד.

והחיפוש המתמשך אחר הדרך הנכונה לחיות בתוך מקום - לא נגדו, לא מעליו, אלא כחלק ממנו.

אולי בסופו של דבר, זה מה שאנחנו באמת לוקחים איתנו בתוך המזוודות.
לא את המדבר הישן, לא את המבנים הפיזיים, ואפילו לא את הפרויקטים שהשארנו מאחור.

אנחנו לוקחים איתנו את השאלות שליוו אותנו ב-20 השנים האחרונות בכל מקום שבו חיינו, ושימשיכו להוביל אותנו גם בפרק הבא של Sustainabeing:
