Starting over in a new country taught me that home is so much more than four walls. When I made aliyah, I had to build everything from scratch — language, community, and eventually, a home of my own.

That experience is what inspires me as a designer today. I know what it feels like to want your space to hold you, reflect you, and grow with you.

This Rosh Hashana, I’m grateful for the path that brought me here and for every home I’ve had the privilege to design. Wishing you all a year filled with new beginnings, joy, and connection. 🍎🍯✨

I'm having a hard time designing my own home...

I thought that with all the experience I have as an interior designer and years of waiting to build my dream home that I knew exactly what I would want but I was wrong.

I like others have changed my mind a thousand times and realize that I actually have to pay for this crap to make this dream come true. But I see now that everyday I make a small thing happen or decisions towards the home it takes off the pressure and brings the whole thing together.

I don't think it helps that I can't sit still for more than 5 seconds in order to make a decision but once I do I'm so happy and proud of myself for taking one step forward.

I've been feeling so inspired lately, and it all comes down to one thing: light.

Why does light matter so much in our lives? What draws us to it?

When I close my eyes, I picture myself on a mountaintop in the fall, the sun shining down on my face. It's my happy place, where I go to unwind. The stunning colors of the leaves against the calm lake below create my ideal space—a little slice of peace and serenity.

That’s the feeling I want to bring into my home and for my clients as well. Light is a key part of that. While we love to let the sunlight in, I know that in Israel, it can get pretty intense at times. But there are always creative ways to work with light to make our spaces feel warm and inviting.

Light truly brings life into our homes. Let's fill our spaces with that brightness!

A big thank you to and for inspiring me to brighten up my life and the work I do.
