לזכור ביחד - Remember Together In the center of a family table stands a candlestick. Each family adds topics as they see fit. The organization is a non-profit one.

In it burn 2 small candles in memory of the children, two medium candles in memory of the parents, two big candles in memory of the grandparents and one extra candle in memory of the perished righteous among the nations. A family ceremony is held to pass the memory of the holocaust to the family in the spirit of the "tell your children" commandment. The family reads a short "Hagada" and holds a di

scussion encouraging the children to talk about their thoughts and emotions regarding the holocaust. The project nurtures values such as human respect, commemoration through activities for the children and empowerment of the parents, and the union of the Jewish people through a common historic memory. This project is promoted by the "A way to remember" organization, founded in 1998. All its members are volunteers from different backgrounds: Religious, secular, Ashkenaz and Mizrahi, teachers, social workers, doctors and nurses.
