LIGHT AS A MATERIAL

Sometimes an interior begins not with furniture or wall colour, but with light.

The way sunlight enters through a window, touches wood and stone, creates shadows, and changes the perception of colour throughout the day.

For this moodboard, I wanted to capture a feeling of warmth, natural light, earthy tones and quiet simplicity.

I love when a colour palette doesn’t exist on its own, but grows from the relationship between light, material and atmosphere.

Today we completed the site measurements for a new project.

Every time I step into a space before construction begins, I imagine what it could become in a few months. Right now it’s concrete, construction marks, and countless technical details. Soon it will be transformed through thoughtful planning, materials, and design.
