ביקור ב- ‘Fallingwater’ אחד היצירות האדריכליות האייקוניות של המאה ה-20
תוכננה ע״י האדריכל Frank Lloyd Wright עבור אדגר קאופמן, איש עסקים יהודי מפיטסבורג שזיהה את הכישרון וניהל מערכת יחסי עבודה שוטפת איתו על מספר פרויקטים. היצירה העל זמנית מרגשת ומעוררת התפעלות במיוחד כחלוצה בסגנון המודרניסטי. אפשר לומר בוודאות כי האדריכל העל הזה הגיע לשלמות צורנית בעלת פרופורציות יפיפיות, בעלת קנה מידה אנושי ושימוש בחומריות מקומית באופן ייחודי ובעל תעוזה הנדסית הנותנת למבנה תחושה של ריחוף מעל המפל. פשוט אדריכל גאון. לא בכדי קיבלה יצירה זו מקום של כבוד בכל במה אדריכלית ונכתבו עליה אין סוף מחמאות. המודרניזם במיטבו.

the 1st one is upon completion. a 14 villas on the Caribbean oceanfront and mostly done..
the 2nd one is under construction.. A 19 villas 200 meters from the 1st one.. that’s what I call mixing business and pleasure…
