“Swatva”, started by Navajivan Trust, showcases Khadi clothing, other traditional wears, hand-embroidered cloths and products made out of them, crockery, toys, key-chains and other souvenirs made out of clay, other products from village industries on sell. In addition to clothing and hand-embroidered wears, block printed cloths with handicraft-art from Kutch will also be part of “Swatva”. Dhotis a

nd Kediyas made from Khadi will be specially showcased keeping Navaratri festival season in mind. In addition to traditional patterns, it will also showcase western designs. Navajivan hopes that with this, Amdavadi youth will consider wearing Khadi at least once in a week. “Swatva” will also showcase clothing based on various seasons and festivals. It will also host camps and workshops with Artists of handicraft products.
