The Solstice House is an evocative show apartment designed for Sun Builders that redefines aspirational living in just 850 sq.ft and resonates with millennials entering their first home investment. The concept draws from the play of light and shadow, restraint and intensity, presence and absence, —where less is never less, and every element commands attention through subtlety and intent, creating a minimalist drama.

And it’s finally here. ✨️

Our beautiful Solstice House is now published in .in — and our hearts are full.

Conceived as an evocative show apartment for millennials stepping into their very first home, this project has always been incredibly close to us. Distinct from the outset, it championed sensitivity over excess and intention over ornament — telling its story through light, texture, and nuance.

We’re delighted to nominate our project ‘Avirat / अविरत’ for the upcoming by x .in x

Category: Residential Interiors

Rooted in its very name, Avirat / अविरत—meaning continuity—this residence is envisioned as an interpretation of a true homely feel, where spaces are seamlessly connected through a thoughtful interplay of material, texture, and art. The design intent was not merely to create an apartment, but to weave an environment where every corner resonates with warmth, calm, and a sense of belonging.

The material palette reflects an understated elegance while celebrating natural tactility. Lime-textured walls form the foundation of the space, exuding an earthy softness that breathes life into the interiors. Wood, with its timeless character, introduces warmth and grounding, making the home feel welcoming and intimate. The combination of these materials sets the tone for a spatial language that is rustic yet refined, minimal yet expressive.

What truly defines Avirat is the presence of a customised artwork—a continuing thread that binds all the spaces together. This piece becomes more than an aesthetic element; it acts as a metaphorical connector, weaving stories across rooms and reinforcing the idea of continuity. Its presence lends an artistic cohesion, ensuring that while each space carries its own identity, it remains tied to the home’s larger narrative.
