How To Make Delicious Capsicum Pakora //Tasty Food
Capsicum pakoras are a popular Indian snack that are easy to make and delicious to eat. Here's how you can make them at home:
Ingredients:
4-5 capsicums (medium-sized)
1 cup of gram flour (besan)
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
Salt (to taste)
Water (as required)
Oil (for frying)
Instructions:
Wash the capsicum and cut into thin slices. Remove the seeds and keep them aside.
Mix gram flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Add water gradually to make a smooth batter. The batter should not be too thick or too runny.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Dip the capsicum pieces in the batter and coat evenly.
Gently drop the coated capsicum in the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Fry a few pieces at a time to avoid overcrowding the pan.
When done, remove the pakoras from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
