Exploring language, memory, identity and belonging through clay.

Once rooted in Bengaluru, now creating from my home studio in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh — one form, one experiment, one story at a time.

Some evenings stay with you long after they’re over. ❤️

A little glimpse of the closing chapter of my first artist residency at Ceramic Kingdom, Berlin.

Sharing What Remains, a body of work exploring language and the traces it leaves behind, was deeply personal. The response, the conversations and the beautiful feedback I received meant more than I can say.

To Ceramic Kingdom, thank you for giving me this space and experience. To all my friends who came, supported me and took my work home — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seeing all my functional pieces find new homes was wonderful, and knowing that some of you connected so deeply with the residency works that you chose to take home even a few of the unfired pieces was truly moving.

My first residency, a subject close to my heart, three months of making and discovering — and now, a bittersweet goodbye to Berlin.

Leaving with a full heart and memories I’ll carry with me. ❤️

And finally… I got to see it all together ♥️

Three months of making, changing my mind, figuring things out, making again, and living with these pieces — all coming together in the window .kingdom

Seeing them all there together, lit up in the evening, was such a surreal feeling. I think I just stood there for a while taking it all in… and feeling a huge sense of relief.

This is what these three months in Berlin were about.
And just like that, the finale.

If you’re in Berlin, come by and see it in the window. I’d love for you to experience it in person.

A little look behind the making of my window exhibition at Ceramic Kingdom, Berlin.

From arranging the works, figuring out how they would sit together in the window, putting up the text, and finally seeing the whole thing come together — these are a few moments from the process.

The exhibition, What Remains!, brings together ceramic forms that explore what language can leave behind — not only through difficult or hurtful words, but also through affection, memory, repetition, misunderstanding and the things that stay with us long after words are gone.

The final window is now up, and I’m also looking forward to sharing more about the work during my artist talk.

Thank you to everyone .kingdom Kingdom for giving me the space and support to make this happen.

Sounds and songs on a Sunday.

It’s one of those beautiful days when the mundane starts feeling a little magical —
the walk to the studio turns into wandering through wonderland landscapes,
making tea and sketching first thing becomes a little ritual, almost divine,
the frustrations from experiments turn into little lessons,
and somehow, by the end of it, even the simplest things feel full of gratitude.

A day of sounds, songs, clay, small frustrations, little discoveries
and the quiet joy of being exactly where I am.

Exactly where I am — living a life I once dreamt of,
and spending my days doing what I truly love.

Perhaps this is what clay has taught me —
to be here, fully,
until even the ordinary moments feel like a fuller life.

This is my first bisque firing in my homestudio after moving to hometown. It’s also my first firing in a larger 1027 skirt kiln. I used to own a smaller 714 skutt before. I could only fill half of it with the works I did this time. For people wondering, why I couldn’t wait to fill it up, I have something coming up soon and I will not have time to do a firing.
So I could only fill half of the kiln and years ago that would have gotten me worried too much, it still would in future if I don’t fill the kiln and waste the energy but guess what it also reminded me of all the possibitlies that I have. all work I dreamt of making and cudnt because of the kiln size restrictions previously.
However for now, I am simply happy to be making again.
