Faces of the Wild: A Story Framed
And the frame has to be a respectful listener.
Look at these three. The masks in this artwork appear as a single, rhythmic story carved with the pulse of instinct and the heartbeat of the wild. You can see the conversation the artist had with the earth itself, captured in the striking giraffe patterns, the vibrant colour, and the raw energy. It feels like Africa itself is speaking through the wood.
That's why we kept our setting intentionally quiet: a soft gold edge with a muted, sandy beige mount. It's not shouting for attention; instead, it's standing back like sand around a firelight, giving each mask its perfect space to breathe and to be. This framing choice ensures that when the art roars this loud, the setting only needs to whisper.
At Guddi's Frames, we believe the frame should be a guardian. We're not just holding art; we're framing stories that remember exactly where they came from.
Because Guddi’s frames don't just display the wild—they preserve its echo.
