Age is just a number, but wisdom is a treasure, and love is the secret ingredient that makes every recipe timeless. โค๏ธ

At 91, every wrinkle of mine tells a story, every recipe I share carries a legacy, and every meal becomes a beautiful expression of my love. My kitchen is more than a place where food is cooked โ€” it is where traditions are preserved, memories are created, values are passed down, and generations are connected.

May we all grow old with a young heart, a willing hand, a kind soul, and the joy of sharing what we know with others. Because the greatest legacy is not just what we leave behind, but the love we serve along the way. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ๐Ÿฒ

DAY 10 | VIJAYADASHAMI โ€“ THE TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL ๐Ÿ”ฑ

A Day of Victory, New Beginnings, Hope & Divine Blessings! โœจ

After nine sacred days of devotion, prayer and worship of the Divine Mother, we celebrate Vijayadashami โ€” the auspicious day that signifies the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and truth over falsehood.

The word Vijayadashami itself signifies victory, reminding us that no matter how difficult our battles may be, righteousness, courage and faith will always light the way forward.

This sacred day also commemorates Lord Ramaโ€™s victory over Ravana and, in many traditions, celebrates Goddess Durgaโ€™s triumph over Mahishasura. Both remind us of the eternal power of goodness, truth and divine grace.

The Deeper Meaning of Vijayadashami
Victory is not always about defeating someone else. Sometimes, the greatest victories are the ones we achieve within ourselves.

It is the victory of patience over anger, kindness over bitterness, humility over pride, forgiveness over resentment, and hope over despair.

Every time we choose to do what is right, speak with kindness, help someone in need, or rise after a difficult fall, we celebrate our own little Vijayadashami.

On this auspicious day, may the Almighty bless you and your family with:
๐Ÿ™ The courage to overcome every obstacle.
๐Ÿ™ The wisdom to always walk the path of righteousness.
๐Ÿ™ The strength to leave behind negativity and embrace positivity.
๐Ÿ™ Good health, happiness, prosperity and peace of mind.
๐Ÿ™ Success in every new endeavour and fulfilment of your dreams.
๐Ÿ™ The grace to remain humble in victory and hopeful through every challenge.

Auspicious Beginnings โ€“ Vidyarambham & New Ventures
Vijayadashami is also considered an auspicious day to begin new journeys, pursue learning, acquire new skills and embark on meaningful endeavours. May this day inspire us to welcome new opportunities with confidence, an open mind and a heart full of faith.

Day 9 โ€“ Celebrating Divine Wisdom, Fulfilment & Infinite Blessings!

As we arrive at the ninth and final day of Navratri, we worship Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth manifestation of Goddess Durga. She is revered as the bestower of siddhis โ€” divine accomplishments, spiritual wisdom and extraordinary blessings. She represents perfection, fulfilment, knowledge and the grace that helps us move closer to our highest purpose.

Maa Siddhidatri reminds us that true fulfilment comes not merely from what we achieve, but also from the wisdom we gain, the kindness we share, the faith we nurture and the gratitude with which we embrace lifeโ€™s journey.

Todayโ€™s Colour โ€“ PEACOCK GREEN ๐Ÿฆš

Peacock green is a beautiful symbol of harmony, renewal, prosperity and spiritual growth. Inspired by the magnificent colours of the peacock, it reminds us of the beauty of lifeโ€™s many blessings and the importance of growing with grace, embracing change and remaining grateful through every season of life.

On this auspicious final day of Navratri, may Maa Siddhidatri bless you and your family with:
๐Ÿ’š Wisdom to make the right choices in life.
๐Ÿ’š Strength to overcome challenges and fulfil your dreams.
๐Ÿ’š Peace, harmony and happiness in your home.
๐Ÿ’š Good health, prosperity and abundance.
๐Ÿ’š Spiritual growth and unwavering faith in the Divine.
๐Ÿ’š The grace to recognise and cherish every blessing.

As these nine sacred days draw to a close, let us pause and reflect on the blessings we have received, the lessons we have learnt and the strength we have discovered within ourselves.

Life may not always unfold according to our plans, but every experience has something to teach us, every challenge offers an opportunity to grow, and every new dawn brings the possibility of hope.

May Maa Siddhidatri fulfil your life with divine grace, illuminate your path with wisdom, bless your family with health and happiness, and open the doors to peace, prosperity and abundance. May her blessings remain with you long after these nine sacred days have passed.

DAY 7 OF NAVRATRI | SATURDAY, 17 OCTOBER 2026

๐Ÿ”ฑ Goddess of the Day: Maa Kalaratri

Day 7 โ€“ Finding Courage in Darkness & Strength in Faith
On the seventh day of Navratri, we worship Maa Kalaratri, the seventh manifestation of Goddess Durga. Fierce and powerful in appearance, she is revered as the destroyer of evil, ignorance and negativity. Though her form may seem fearsome, her heart is filled with compassion for her devotees, whom she protects from harm and guides towards fearlessness.

Maa Kalaratri teaches us one of lifeโ€™s most profound lessons: even in our darkest moments, we must never lose hope. The challenges we face, the fears we carry and the uncertainties that trouble us need not define our lives. With faith, courage and perseverance, we can find the strength to rise above them.

Todayโ€™s Colour โ€“ GREY ๐Ÿฉถ
Grey represents balance, composure, resilience and the ability to remain steady through lifeโ€™s uncertainties. It reminds us that life is not always black and white; sometimes, we must learn to navigate the grey areas with patience, wisdom and faith.

On this sacred day, may Maa Kalaratri bless you and your family with:
๐Ÿฉถ Courage to face your deepest fears.
๐Ÿฉถ Strength to overcome adversity and emerge stronger.
๐Ÿฉถ Protection from negativity and harmful influences.
๐Ÿฉถ Peace of mind amid lifeโ€™s uncertainties.
๐Ÿฉถ Wisdom to remain calm and make the right decisions.
๐Ÿฉถ Good health, happiness and divine protection.

There are moments in life when the road ahead seems uncertain, when our hearts are heavy and when we wonder how we will find the strength to carry on. It is in these moments that faith becomes our greatest light.
Remember, even the darkest night eventually gives way to dawn. Never underestimate the strength within you, and never forget that difficult chapters do not mean your story has come to an end.

May Maa Kalaratri dispel the darkness from your life, protect your loved ones, and bless your home with courage, peace, good health and prosperity. May you always find strength when life tests you and hope when the path seems unclear.

Through Maa Skandamata, we are reminded that love is not merely an emotion; it is a divine strength that nurtures, protects and gives us the courage to face the world.

May Maa Skandamata fill your home with the warmth of love, your heart with compassion, your life with happiness, and your days with the golden light of prosperity and divine blessings.
