This Chola-pattern sculpture beautifully depicts the story of Gangadhara Murti. As Ganga descends from the heavens, Lord Shiva receives her gently in his matted locks, while Goddess Parvati stands beside Him with a hint of uneasiness. Shiva’s warm smile, His hand raised to console Parvati, and His embrace convey a tender assurance of His love for her.

The iconography follows Agamic texts such as the Amsumadbhedagama, Uttara-kamaikagama, and Purva-Karanagama, and is a form commonly seen in many Chola temples. Through this artefact, we have humbly attempted to capture one of the many beautiful stories embodied in India’s sacred sculptural tradition.

A rare and deeply auspicious representation of Mangala ( Auspicious) Kali, this remarkable bronze sculpture portrays the goddess in her benevolent and protective form rather than her fierce manifestation. Standing gracefully within a monumental trident-shaped prabhavali, the goddess embodies divine strength, protection, and the victory of righteousness over evil.

The sacred trident, or trishula, symbolizes the cosmic weapon through which the Goddess conquered demonic and unrighteous forces. Revered as a force capable of liberating the human soul from worldly bo***ge, the trident represents spiritual awakening, protection, and divine authority. Framed within its powerful form, Mangala Kali radiates calmness, grace, and unwavering strength.

Her serene facial expression, poised stance, symbolic implements, and flame-like flowing hair together evoke a divine energy that is both powerful and compassionate. Here, the goddess does not reveal her terrifying side, but instead appears as Mangala Kali — the auspicious protector who blesses and reassures her devotees.

Crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting method in the finest quality bronze, this sculpture preserves every minute detail with extraordinary precision. From the layered necklaces and magnificent earrings to the delicate ornamentation and refined facial features, every element reflects the mastery of traditional South Indian bronze craftsmanship.

The rich bronze patina and exceptional miniature detailing give the sculpture a timeless sacred presence, making it not only a devotional icon, but also a true work of collectible art.

A magnificent reimagination of the mythical Gajayali, this one-of-a-kind wooden sculpture bridges timeless South Indian craftsmanship with bold contemporary artistry.

The body is enriched with luminous Kiku chrysanthemum motifs, painted in layered golden tones that bloom elegantly across a deep jewel-toned teal surface. These florals are contrasted by striking checkered accents in muted yellow and black, lending the sculpture a refined neo-maximalist character. Flowing feather-like brushwork and Grecian meander borders further enhance the visual rhythm, creating a seamless dialogue between heritage ornamentation and modern luxury aesthetics.

The richly carved wings and sculptural detailing retain the warmth and authenticity of traditional woodcraft, while the contemporary palette evokes the opulence of lacquerware and vintage chinoiserie. Every curve, motif, and brushstroke has been executed entirely by hand, making each piece truly unique.

The Lord whose braided locks bear the crescent moon, the sacred river, and fragrant umattai blossoms dances beside the Mother whose radiant smile cools the worlds like moonlight upon still waters. Rubies rest upon His chest beside serpent ornaments, while emeralds and pearls shimmer upon Her graceful form like drops of forest rain upon gold. Their jeweled crowns gleam brighter than temple lamps, and every ornament upon their divine bodies seems awakened into light by their sacred presence.

His anklets thunder softly with the rhythm of creation, while Her jeweled feet answer like veena notes echoing through twilight halls. Together they move in blissful harmony — the Lord of cosmic rhythm and the Goddess of boundless grace. So wondrous is their dance that celestial maidens forget their songs, sages lose themselves in silence, and even the heavens pause to behold the beauty of their sacred forms.

There is a serenity upon their faces that words cannot contain — the gentle smile of the Lord, the compassionate gaze of the Goddess, the stillness hidden within movement itself. The bronze seems almost to breathe beneath their splendor, unable to contain the radiance of their expressions, their ornaments, and the divine energy of their dance. Every curve, every jewel, every strand of braided hair has been shaped to evoke not merely form, but presence.

Inspired by the timeless spirit of India’s rich heritage and the poetic grandeur of the Shaiva saints, this is our humble attempt to capture the eternal beauty of Shiva and Parvati in Ananda Tandava (Dance of Bliss).
