Studio Autumn is a Bangalore based, full service interior design studio that specializes in creating distinctive and individualized spaces.

We take up design and execution for everything from small scale residences to large scale commercial projects.

For this home, we wanted the outdoors to feel like a natural part of everyday life — not something separate from the spaces within.
The courtyards, balconies and little pauses along the way become an extension of the indoors. Views open from one space into another, bringing in light, breeze and glimpses of green, while still feeling connected to the warmth of the home.
Red brick, terracotta jali and cane screens bring an earthy, tactile quality to these spaces. Thoughtful details, like the way the swing has been crafted and put together, add another layer of warmth and character.
We wanted the transition from inside to outside to feel effortless, with the same material warmth and quiet contemporary character flowing through both.
Spaces to step out, slow down and still feel very much at home.

A room designed without just one purpose in mind.
On most days, it’s an open, easy space for the family to spend time together — to read, play, explore a hobby or simply spread out and do their own thing. And when needed, it can quietly turn into a bedroom for guests.
The furniture and layout were designed around this flexibility, keeping enough open floor space for the room to change with the day. We also added a little mezzanine — a cosy corner for the kids to climb up to, read, play and make their own.
Light oak finishes and playful wood details bring warmth to the room, keeping it light, relaxed and a little fun.
A space that doesn’t tell you exactly how to use it — it simply leaves room for life to happen.

Every project leaves a little something with you.

Arth, for me, was a reminder of why I fell in love with design in the first place.

The joy of keeping things simple. Of not trying too hard. Of letting materials be themselves, leaving a little room for imperfection, and allowing a home to slowly find its own rhythm.

Somewhere along the way, a space stops feeling designed and simply starts feeling like home.

I think that’s the feeling I’ll always be chasing.

Amber began with a simple brief: an earthy, classical home that felt relaxed without becoming too formal or ornate. Across this 3,300 sq ft Bangalore villa, we brought that idea to life through deep wood, warm browns, brass accents, soft arches, vintage-inspired lighting and touches of green.

From the moody living room and sage green kitchen to the quieter bedrooms, custom details and reading nook, each space was designed to feel connected while still having a personality of its own.

Ten months of designing, refining and improvising later, Amber became a home that feels warm, comfortable and easy to live in, exactly what we hoped it would be.

The kitchen may be one of our favourite spaces in Amber.
Sage green cabinetry, vintage-inspired lights, patterned flooring and an island that naturally becomes the centre of everything.
Even the existing beam found a second life, wrapped in timber until it felt like it had always belonged there.

Amber is warm, grounded and quietly nostalgic. Built around earthy tones, handcrafted details and a relaxed farmhouse sensibility, it’s a home that feels collected over time rather than designed all at once.
