The name of the house, The Lotus Creek, is derived from the creek-like waterscape provided both outside and inside. A greater amount of emphasis was put upon the ecology and garden on this project. This project not only required interiors but also the exteriors to be designed and it was designed in such a way inspired by many things.

The first thought of inspiration happened to me while trying to put a Rubik's Cube in place (which I wasn't able to) but the design was analysed and imbibed in the design of the exterior as well as interior.

The whole project was fun and head scratching to come up something creative and the final result is what you see here.

Levels:
Basement for parking; motor room to power the waterscape and creek and the fountain; and a personal design studio
Ground Floor with a waterscape when before you enter the living room.
First Floor with Kitchen, a guest room, and a teenager's bed room
Second Floor with Master bedroom with a pool resembling an infinity pool with safety for kids.
Terrace with a pump house for pool management.

" Nieve mínima "

der. Spanish. nieve – snow; minimo – means. minimal = minimal snow or to snow minimally.

A kitchen designed around two concept: One was of minimal colors from a season of a winter and the other was of the cabinets inspired by a very distinctly designed biscuit ice-cream from my childhood memory - the Kwality Walls "Bikimax" cookie ice-cream. Used to be sold at 5 Rs. :P :D

The cabinet design, a mixture of white laminate and wooden laminate inspired by Kwality Walls "Bikimax" cookie ice-cream, the color scheme is based around the snow or winter.

The red of a winter flower, the white of the snow, and the warm temperament of a dark wood. The lighting illuminated by warm white light accent, which portrays warmth, and a touch of blue, a tinge of light purple, and strokes of gray, which adorn the evening horizon of snow fallen cityscape.

Nieve minima is a concoction of contemporary and minimalist design styles utilizing the bare minimum of any kitchen.

For, simplicity, I feel, transcends beyond beauty.

A zen inspired bathroom, where not only the body, but the soul too cleanses. This is my first and the most beloved project; one that moved every inch of my soul.

Showers are one of those places deeply neglected by many where exists an umpteen amount of possibility. Shower is one place that is left to you alone to splurge yourself into the deepest thought. Many a time, ideas are born in shower (strictly my experience) :D

An artist, a designer, an art connoisseur, a poet, a writer, or any one for that instance needs a den of their own where one is left alone with their thoughts. Gone are the days when showers used to be a place for bodily cleanse, and today, we are in a world where there are enormous amount of design possibilities with added creative aspects to it, which not only can inspire you but also can heal and harmonize you emotionally.

This soul cleansing room "The Hermit's Cave" was designed with some of the zen principles in mind incorporating elements such as air, earth, cloud, and water, but unfortunately the element of fire could not be incorporate. Waterscape with water-screen and a live aquarium and a view of Buddha from the hammock bathtub, I believe, is one view to heal and harmonize one's soul.
